Ravensword: Undaunted

DONT BUY. Dev gave up to work on something new.

STAY AWAY... abandoned game with hardly any content. Glorified demo. They should release it for free.

⚠️Beware the game was abandoned in a buggy unfinished state !⚠️ There was potential with Ravensword: Undaunted sadly the developers abandoned the game to go work on their new title Angkara: The Horde. Pretty much a scummy move and they are also re-using assets from Ravensword: Undaunted in the new game. I would recommend to not buy this game and avoid these developers in the foreseeable future. Ravensword: Undaunted combat is very basic, clunky and unsatisfying, basically a spam left click fest against brain dead AI. Lot of bugs like level exit prompt will not work, scripts bugs, switches that need to be activated to progress trapped under locked doors with no way to open them. Because of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game breaking bugs you just waste 30 minutes restarting from the beginning and lose all stuff collected you need to upgrade your gear. On the other hand the atmosphere, level design and enemies models are decent though, nothing groundbreaking but they did put a bit of efforts in there. Such wasted potential and kinda sadden me they abandonned it like that as this type of game is right up my alley. Selling this game in such a broken state should be considered criminal. They took my money and ran. It wasn't a lot of money, but a few months into their early access they stopped doing anything with the game, and haven't even bothered to tell potential buyers here that the game is dead. This could have been a really cool game, but instead they chose to do _this_.

Unfortunately, while I did have fun with this title, I can not recommend an early access game that has gone over a year without an update.

Hahaha, shamelessly they say "The game is close to completion" in the Early Access description, jokers. Don't waste your money. Just 1 medium level, abandoned, they are making another game. Pity, looked promising. Don't buy Ankgara their next game, 1 scam is enough. 1 "garden" of floating rocks very *short* jumping level. 1 "wood" of rocks good enough medium level. --------- 1 blocked level I could not access. 3 level in "construction".

Broken unfinished game abandoned

Last update on this game was eight months ago...and one of the very first weapons you have access to...the left the lorem ipsum in place of its description. I mean. That's a bad sign. Will give it an honest try, but that bit hit me hard enough I backed out to write this. Update: Unfinished, unpolished, and abandoned. There's not much to do--as if the mechanics and most of the bones were put in place, and then forgotten. There's a lot of good potential here, but no one seems to be at the helm of the ship. You can actually lock yourself forever in the levels if you do not choose to leave when the prompt comes up--there is no second chance there. After two years abandoned, all that remains is a relic of something that had the makings of a sleeper hit, but never got out of bed.
