About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Fatekeeper is an enjoyable first-person slasher that has very few bugs in its current state. Coming from the perspective of a first-person shooter fan, I feel comfortable with the camera not being behind the character and with it being keyboard only at this time. Additionally, with strafing, I don't really relate to players who find difficulty dealing with ranged enemies. That's not to say that I found the game easy, but after learning to parry and craft potions for healing and to apply to weapons, it became easier. There have been comments about the save system not allowing saves except at certain checkpoints. It was mildly frustrating once or twice, and I did find myself going back to save again if I had crafted potions or picked more flowers and mushrooms nearby, in order to avoid having to do all that again in the event of death. However, I can appreciate why the developers decided on this system, and I think it might have made the game too easy if they allowed quick saves at any point. Perhaps allowing saves outside of combat zones would be a medium ground that would satisfy more people. You can see from my specs that I don't have very recent components, but it was still playable on medium settings, varying between 29 to 57 FPS (at a resolution of 1680 x 1050). That might be uncomfortable for many players, but for me it was perfectly fine. While, at times, it did look quite grainy with those settings, especially in the low light areas, it is still a beautiful game. I hope that the developers can continue to put the care and attention into the rest of the game that they have shown so far. I bought the game before the price rise, and I feel I've already had my money's worth.
Great start! it reminds my of might and magic one of my all time fav games.
This game legitimately has the bones for something great. I'd love to see them allow for more side routes and being able to choose fights from new unique angles.
Will be updating my review overtime. --- Currently running on Bazzite --- First and foremost, really beautiful game. It's not only about the graphics, but the atmosphere, the design, art and the context is just perfect. The game is really immersive and convincing. You will need a good config to run it; it's still in early access running UE5. I'm running it at medium settings with a 7800X3D / 9070XT combo with native resolution at 5120X1440 and it's absolutely stunning. FPS are comfortably stable at more than 60. --- The game is early access, but the gameplay is very mature. The way the devs are handling the roadmap is such as the current maps / graphics / gameplay is kinda complete, with spaces for improvements where good feedbacks are provided. The only thing missing is obviously content ; story, maps, gear, spells, potions, biomes, etc... Otherwise, the basics are [u[♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. Took me 4h to complete with a very slow pace as I took time to admire the environment and search for secrets. --- As noted by other reviews, the game right now is such as "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic". Pretty unique, as a Linear FPS with RPG aspects, such as a skill tree, melee combats with an "importance" on the environments, spells and loots, but damn was it a good game and damn why ain't there more of them. It's refreshing not only to see a new good contender, but a new good successor for this genre. It's linear, but there's so much way to approach a combat, it does adds to its replayability. Dying is part of the game, but it's funnier than a "souls-like" as you can experiment with the combat and the environment, it's not about learning a boss patern nor the spawn rate of a mob. I hope the devs lean a bit more around the environment with ways to make enemy catch fire, electrify the water, stuff like that. Right now it's more about traps and ways to destroy the environment to your advantage. Magic is there and the way the tutorial and the character presents themselves, it's more of an addition than a full build choice (melee vs magic). it makes me think a bit of "The Witcher" on this aspect. The skill tree does offer magic buffs and more spells, tho the Early Access is not long enough to really enjoy it. Just like "The Witcher", you can craft potions and oils you can put on your weapons to buff them. The potions are easy to craft with plenty of mats lying around and there's alot of freedom on the recipes. --- It's still in very very early access, but the eager is there, and the devs shows it by there comments. It has ALOT of potentials, so buy it now for the price it has, you won't regret it now, and if the game goes south, you won't regret it anyway, as you'll enjoy it for what it is today. Suggestions : Depending on where the game goes, maybe add a "morality" aspect to the story / character / companion, if it stays linear. Maybe add more environmental damage based on your spells and biomes. You did so good now, I trust you on your endeavors, and the legacy is so good for this genre, do not hesitate to draw inspiration from it!
I like the games feel gives me Vermintide vibes.
I recommend. The game runs smoothly on my rig. Excited to have more gear and skill points. I've not checked if I can teleport back to the main hub, but the game felt like a continuous run without the need of any upgrades, other than gear found along the way. Not sure at this time if there is any replayability, but it has a decent chunk of content for the price.

Most fun I’ve had on an RPG since Skyrim came out back in 2011. Like I highly recommend this game if you love RPGs. Definitely will be putting in some serious hours on this game. Bravo to the devs for making a badass game.
Baita futuro!
