When I first played this game on the PS2, I was completely in love! It felt so fresh and innovative at the time, unlike anything else I’d experienced. This modern remake captures that same spirit very well and really brings the experience forward. The only minor issue I have is that I would have liked to see the combat system feel a bit more refined and updated — it isn’t bad by any means, just occasionally a little clunky, though one could argue that clunkiness is part of the game’s charm. Overall it’s a great game, and I’m hopeful we’ll get another remake or even an entirely new entry in the series down the line!

This game got shown the same love RE2 did with RE2 Remake, and then some. Story beats are all the same, cutscenes with similar shots, but more cinematic. Combat completely redone, much harder. And the addition of side stories that impact the endings we get, in addition to deepening the lore of characters you only really saw in ghost pictures or expanded in documents are now, also makes you care a lot more for the characters you never knew had as much depth. Phenomenal remake of one of the best horror games of all time. Pls Koei don't remake 3, it's too scary and the world isn't ready..................................................

Also erstmal: Der Anfang wenn man wirklich neu startet, ist bockschwer. Es ist erfrischend, wie das Kampfsystem im Gegensatz zu damals überarbeitet wurde. Kämpfe fühlen sich Anfangs (wenn man noch nicht die Kamera aufgewertet hat) sehr gefährlich an und bieten damit ordentliches Potential für PANIK! Find ich gut. Die neuen Linsen und zusätzlichen Orte sind außerdem äußerst spannend und schön gestaltet. Man hat das Gefühl wirklich in einem Dorf rumzulaufen. Und gottverdammt, habe ich männliche Schreie von mir gegeben, wenn der Kusabi plötzlich aufgetaucht ist. 10/10, würde jederzeit wieder männlich schreien.

Great game! It was my first time playing a FF game, and I really enjoyed it - super scary as well! I will say I thought some of the mechanics around the camera were a little wonky and I wished they sprinkled some of the side missions throughout the game than rushing them all towards the end. But, overall, enjoyed playing the game and I hope there are more coming soon!

잘만들었어요~ 원작에선 여중생정도였는데, 리메이크에선 여대생으로 보이는게 아쉬워요.
