A good HO game ruined by glitches throwing you out of the game during a HO scene. I had to play a Match 3 puzzle to go around it. Game breaking bug in Bonus chapter when you are unable to put the fuse in the power box. Therefore you are unable to use the computer etc. There were complaints on Big Fish website about this game's bugs and the dev never fixed them up. That didn't stop BF selling a faulty game to Steam. Do not buy!!
this game has glitch and shuts down in an HOP game in Chapter 4. However, you do not know this until you get there which exceeds the 2 hour limit policy for refunds on games EVEN IF THEY ARE BROKEN WHEN THEY STEAM SELLS THEM TO THE PUBLIC. Where is the policy on games that just don't work and Steam continuing to sell them even though they know the game is broken. SHAME ON YOU, STEAM!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!
like the game but cant finish it as it keeps crashing when i'm trying to piece the map back together
The story of Fatal Evidence: Art of Murder is pretty interesting. A murderer who tries to take revenge on the people that has destroyed his life ever since childhood and you a renowned detective must stop him from killing every last one of these people. Although, I'm afraid to break it to you...
The handsome detective that you see all around the game is not you. You are playing as another detective.
This game has, however, some interesting features that I am still exploring. I would like to present you some advantages and disadvantages that I have found until now. PROS: - A male protagonist! It's rare to find male protagonists in HOPA games; - Mystery filled backgrounds and clickable items; - Neat music, the playlist is tuned with the story events; - Menu, Inventory, Hint, Map bar share wonderful designs and they contain a special collectible wheel which lights up if there is something to collect around; - It contains a helpful Strategy Guide; - The collectibles are Origami - 15, Arts - 15 and Coins - 92 (Don't let that number fool you.) - The Map has different designs than those from other games; - When you click on the Journal it makes the protagonist open it as a real book; - It contains a bonus chapter that I am currently playing. (I'll come back here to tell you how's it been.) CONS: - Once you get to the middle of the game, you already can see the end; - The cursor reverts easily and you can find yourself outside the HO minigame (It's nerve-cracking) or you have to stand still in order to obtain the newly item from the combined objects; - It happened once for me. I don't know if it will happen for you, but the game stopped and I got out of the game. It must have been me, since I click on so many things at the same time. All in all, I say fans of this genre and any other players who would like to play a mystery game can give this game a chance. It has everything you need to inspire you to write a crime novel on your own. ;) {Edit: Major Problem!!!} It seems that the fuse box is a tricky thing. You can obtain the items easy even though they are in the darkness and when you got the fuse, you will find yourself unable to plug it in and have electricity, the means to operate the computer. So yeah. I'm stuck. Wherever you do, don't obtain all the items even though you can. Try finding the fuse and then operate that fuse box from the Bonus Chapter. {End Major Problem Announcement}
I liked this game until I got to the Bonus content. Started off great but can't finish the game. I came to a part where I am supposed to put a fuse in to restore power but won't let me. Can't go any further
Not a bad game aside from a few crashes and downright BROKEN elements in the game. The game developers clearly decided to go and get drunk instead of fixing the bugs in this game. At one point in the bonus chapter, the game refuses to recognize that you have an item and everywhere you go, it tells you there's nothing to do there. BROKEN. Some have said you can get around this doing things in a certain order, but I've tried twice and it still doesn't work. I don't care enough to give it a third try. Shame on you Big Fish for not providing support for your games on Steam. I realize you're a huge company and have your own version of Steam, but since you only sell a certain type of game (your games), many people prefer to go thru Steam. You have an obligation to provide a quality product that actually works or else refund everyone who bought the game. Period.
Several game-breaking bugs, one of which can be circumvented and another that cannot. It's a shame, because if it wasn't for that I quite liked the game.
Okay Big Fish Get your sh*t together and play test your games found a game breaking glitch in the bonus game when you put in the power emblem after you do this you can not put in the switch and fuse therefore you can not proceed GET IT FIXED!!!
Computer game was enjoyable right up until you have to use tape to put the plan together. Not happy that I have purchased a game that is faulty.
