For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Farmagia is a bold genre hybrid from Marvelous Inc. that tries to fuse monster-raising, farming simulation, and action RPG combat into a single cohesive experience. At first glance, it stands out immediately thanks to its vibrant presentation and character designs by Hiro Mashima, whose signature style gives the game a lively, energetic tone reminiscent of classic shounen anime. Beneath that surface, however, the game reveals itself as an experiment in balancing two very different gameplay philosophies—relaxed, cyclical farming and fast-paced, command-driven combat—and the success of that experiment varies depending on which aspect you value more. The story is set in the world of Felicidad, where individuals known as Farmagia cultivate monsters from seeds and use them as companions in both daily life and battle. You follow Ten, a spirited protagonist who becomes entangled in a rebellion against an oppressive force following a major shift in the world’s power structure. The narrative leans heavily on familiar themes of friendship, resistance, and personal growth, and while it is accessible and easy to follow, it rarely strays far from well-worn genre conventions. There are moments where character interactions carry emotional weight, particularly within the core cast, but the pacing can feel uneven, with some arcs resolving too quickly while others lack sufficient development to leave a lasting impact. The gameplay loop is built around the relationship between farming and combat, with the former directly feeding into the latter. Instead of growing crops, you cultivate monsters, nurturing them until they are ready to be deployed in battle. These creatures serve different roles, ranging from frontline attackers to support units and utility companions that assist with research or resource gathering. On paper, this system creates a satisfying feedback loop—invest time in your farm, strengthen your roster, and take that power into combat encounters. In practice, however, the farming side feels somewhat underdeveloped. It lacks the depth, customization, and day-to-day engagement that define stronger life simulation games, often functioning more as a resource generator than a meaningful gameplay pillar. Combat is where the game shows more ambition. Battles take place in real time, with players commanding groups of monsters rather than directly engaging enemies themselves. This creates a unique dynamic where positioning, timing, and coordination become more important than individual character control. Special abilities, such as combined attacks or temporary monster fusions, add visual flair and a sense of power, especially during larger encounters. The system is accessible and initially satisfying, but over time it begins to show its limits. Enemy variety is somewhat restricted, and encounters can start to feel repetitive once the core mechanics are fully understood. While there is room for strategy, it does not evolve significantly enough to maintain a strong sense of progression throughout the entire game. Exploration takes place in dungeon-like environments where players gather materials, complete objectives, and advance the story. These areas are colorful and visually consistent with the game’s overall aesthetic, but they tend to follow similar structural patterns, which can make them feel predictable over time. The loop of entering a dungeon, clearing enemies, collecting resources, and returning to the farm remains largely unchanged from beginning to end. For some players, this consistency can be comforting, but for others, it may contribute to a sense of monotony as the hours pass. Presentation is one of Farmagia’s most consistent strengths. The art style is expressive and full of personality, with character designs that stand out and environments that feel bright and inviting. The soundtrack complements the tone well, shifting between energetic battle themes and more relaxed tracks during quieter moments. Voice acting adds another layer of charm, helping to bring the cast to life even when the writing itself does not always reach the same level of impact. These elements combine to create a world that feels cohesive and visually appealing, even when the underlying systems fall short. The main challenge the game faces is its inability to fully commit to either side of its hybrid identity. The farming mechanics lack the depth and interactivity needed to stand alongside genre leaders, while the combat system, though enjoyable, does not offer enough variety or complexity to carry the experience on its own. This creates a sense of imbalance, where both halves of the game feel like they are supporting each other without either reaching their full potential. It is clear that the foundation is there, but it feels as though the game stops just short of fully realizing what it could be. Pacing reinforces this issue, as the early hours introduce new mechanics and characters at a steady rate, creating a strong initial impression. As the game progresses, however, the lack of meaningful evolution in its systems becomes more apparent. The core loop remains largely unchanged, and without significant new elements to keep things fresh, the experience can begin to feel repetitive. Players who enjoy structured, repeatable gameplay may still find satisfaction in this rhythm, but those looking for deeper progression or variety may struggle to stay engaged. In the end, Farmagia is a game defined by its ambition and its charm, even if its execution is uneven. It offers a unique blend of ideas, wrapped in a visually appealing package that captures the spirit of its inspirations. There are moments where the systems come together effectively, creating a sense of momentum and reward, but these moments are not consistent enough to elevate the entire experience. It feels like the beginning of something promising rather than a fully realized vision. Rating: 7/10

It isnt super deep but the art style is charming and the gameplay loop is fun, expect A LOT of grinding though!
LOTS OF FUN AND A GOOD STORY TO FOLLOW.
