Nothing attacks me, the animals and outfits are so adorable, and I can play at my own pace! Love this game so much! Great job to the solo developer. Worst bug is that sometimes the waiter doesn't see a dish so I move it and then he does.
I'm having so much fun with this game. Bought it because of JMXP stream. Few things to note: > Watering Crops: Can you make a sprinkler or is there a task for staff? also early game is hard bec of this, I'm always broke. Selling the crop won't fully refund you and that sucks because you don't know how much the crop will sell after you harvest it. > Placing Floors: why can't you put it under a table? :< > Placing decorations: can we at least make it a bit smaller or clip it easily? I actually like the idea of floating lights between my trees. > Menu: put a tag (veg, sweets etc.) on the seeds. Selling value on the Seeds so we don't spend unnecessary money since there is very few guide. > Second Floor? I haven't checked yet if there is one but it would be a nice addition. > Seasonal Event: Christmas, Halloween decor, season effect like snow and costume for customers is cute. > Consider having an underground/basement so we can have wines? then add cute glass wines, barrel too. Overall Qol is not that bad but there's a lot of opportunity for this game, it's addicting and simple. <3
I absolutely adore this game! The atmosphere is exactly what I want from a cozy game. It is relaxing, wholesome, and charming, while still offering a bit of challenge from time to time so it never feels boring. The art style deserves a special mention as well. I absolutely love the nature-inspired design, especially the greenery and the plants growing on walls and rooftops. What surprised me the most is how much content is already available in Early Access. I expected a much more basic foundation, but there is already plenty to unlock, discover, and experiment with. Of course, I have come across a few bugs here and there, but that is completely understandable since the game is still in Early Access. My only real criticism at the moment is the progression system. There were times when I had access to seeds that I could not actually use yet because I had not unlocked the required equipment. I think it would feel smoother if some of those things became available only when players are able to make use of them. If you enjoy games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, or Overcooked, but are looking for something less chaotic and more relaxing, I would definitely recommend Farm to Table.
after 20 hours+ of playtime this is EVERYTHING i look for in a game. my one and only request would be an economy fix. the early and mid grind is a struggle. you should absolutely not have to pay to water your crops. there needs to be a one time purchase of a well and watering can and that should be it. i highly reccomend this but otherwise amazing game. looking forward to more animals,plants,fish/sea creatures and decor!!
I personally have a strange affinity for playing games that simulate 9-5 jobs but hate working said jobs IRL. BUT!! this game is great the progression is just slow enough to give you time for your money without being painfully left at a snail crawl. The "graphics" look great but its no triple A title, yet for a game and atmosphere like this i still find myself strangely attracted to the patrons dressed like Coachella attendees. The building can use some rework or tweaking as it is a grid snapping system which works until a tree gets in the way of your aspirations of a restaurant, also seeing as the "floor" is just a big slab of brick(which you can paint) trying to cover the whole area youve unlocked is irking at worst(I bought it let me use the damn space). The textures and icons for the food itself are great no real complaints aside from; eggs and potatoes icon looks similar on shelfs also apples and tomatoes icon looks very similar at a glance. My only real problem, movement speed is PAINFULLY slow, let me be a psycho running please. Theres a "movement speed upgrade" I felt no real difference and if there is a sprint function I definitely did not find it after 10 hours of playing. Conclusion, games great if you have the 20 bucks to spare(USD) grab it or wait until its on sale again. Plays awesome, no game breaking bugs but some annoying ones for sure still not terrible and no crashes for me at least. Progression feels rewarding and is actually fun but, yes even gathering resources to upgrade a a single dish over and over is annoying to some I dont mind.
I really like this game, but a few important notes (bug needs addressing ASAP): 1. By far the most frequent and upsetting bug was the disappearance of stock in shelves. I would spend 15+ mins getting fully stocked and ready for food service, turn around and my inventory is gone. Like, thousands of dollars worth of ingredients just vanished. On the shelves. This happened twice - both times I had just finished stocking them moments before (days were not passing...). Not sure what's going on there, but it made me quit the game twice. 2. The progression tree goes very slow. You have a ton of unlocked seeds, but nowhere to put them / grow food fast enough. Also, the menu growth is slow and it seems that the game throws at you too much too soon than you have unlocked / land available to cater to. 3. I've had no issues with harvesting, growing, watering, decorating or staffing the restaurant. My main upset was with $$$$ worth of ingredients magically disappearing. This game is fun and I want to play it more, but not if my hard work is going to mysteriously vanish every time I play.
Good game to fill my void
This game is adorable, I love it, love the different npc's. I do however have some critiques, for one thing, there needs to be more space to unlock as I find myself struggling to fit everything I unlock in, should be at least double the space, and I'm very rich now in game that I could unlock more land. For a second thing, as I progressed, the game would get laggy and even more laggier, even after messing with the settings, it just takes the enjoyment out of the game play, which I do enjoy, but it can get frustrating. For the third thing, the gardeners are so annoying when I put up a new shelf to store things in, they immediately fill them up with a mix of whatever and I like organization, sure you can lock the labels, but there is no way to pause the gardeners that I'm aware of from doing this and it was so irritating that I fired all of them and now do all the gardening and restocking myself. I do recommend this game, but it needs some more work, as I care way more about these issues than the addition of co-op/ multiplayer. Also, this game needs controller support, which I know is on the roadmap, as you sometimes have to walk around the world for foraging, fishing and upgrading your tools, so it'll be nice to have that added in. Hopefully the game only gets better with more improvements as this is early access, the dev has done a nice job making this game so far and would be a shame to let it go.
pretty cool love to see multi player
