Faraway: Puzzle Escape

Although it's unpolished at points, Faraway: Puzzle Escape is still an entertaining and relaxing experience. Gaining new degrees of motion from the original, the puzzles translate well into the more open movement style. The puzzles are creative, easy to follow and unique, but janky at a few points. The game is overall an amazing dose of nostalgia.

The game starts off easy and you think the game will get more challenging later on but it doesnt ,the story of that lost guy isnt that intresting either this game is simply made for toddlers ,it hard to even call it a puzzle game

Если бы в игре были просто загадки, то было бы не так неплохо, НО… До сих пор не поправили баг в одном из уровней, который не содержит логики. Как я позже прочёл из-за того, что при переносе игры с мобильной версии не до конца адаптировали загадку под ПК. Могли бы и поправить, но видимо создателям плевать. Музыкальное сопровождение скудное и однообразное. Вы скажете «Ну что ты хочешь от игры за ~100₽ (не помню по чём брал)». Ребят, а я вам отвечу, что Limbo брал за 50₽ и там музыка обалденная (НМВ) Сюжет - лучше бы не пытались делать вовсе. Записки ни о чём и абсолютно не интригуют, и не раскрывают сюжет. Очевидно, что писали записки для галочки и не более. Если в Outlast’е записки были интересны и вплетены в общую картину происходящего вокруг, то здесь это несуразно. Отдельно о достижениях. Есть абсолютно бестолковые, как например сделать внутриигровые скрины в каждом уровне - зачем (учитывая, что некоторые картинки не срабатывают и отражаются в виде чёрного экрана)? Разбить всю посуду на всех уровнях - это душно и не интересно. Найти все записки - классическое достижение, но из-за того, что они не интересны также душно. Растягивание игрового времени да и только МИНУС! «Браво» за “ключ» на 3м уровне. Сделать невидимую стену, чтобы игрок никогда не нашёл её гениальный ход - НЕТ! Не рекомендую, лучше возьмите старый добрый Myst, к тому же ребята наконец 2ю часть ремейкуют.

Potential yet there are so many things wrong. Thought I was not understanding the puzzles properly, then turns out some puzzles actually don't make sense and its a random code and not a puzzle (likely because of phone game port issues) with one level "line" serving no purpose adding to the confusion of solutions, in addition to making the game lasers "too fast" making level 17 quite the challenge. A fun simple puzzle game this is not as you will need to look up a guide for some segments, not because of a skill issue but due to there being no logic.

Pretty short (sub 3 hours), but an alright puzzler. Get it for cheap if you can.

It's pretty good. I can't figure out how to break all the pots or get the photo achievement. All the note puzzles are pretty unique, but once you get a handle on them, pretty cool. Maybe I'll play it again next year once I've forgotten everything

loved it, puzzles weren't too challenging, nailed the atmosphere
