Don't Disturb

Through silent mists my quiet steps; death claims all, but not my search for you.

Don't Disturb is a small sidescrolling adventure where you play a grieving dog in the afterlife. Nice art with Chinese and calligraphy influences. The puzzles are fine but easy. The writing is full of English mistakes but they don't detract too much. A bit short for the price at around 20-25 minutes for one playthrough but you're probably going to want to play twice. Delicate and touching.

挺好的作品。还是希望能有更多人去玩，虽然感觉穷穷的，但狗子的身形画的好高级……这个画风其实我个人还挺顺眼的。 以前总是看到新闻或者周围的老人死后很多人都会把他们的东西全部丢掉，一件都不留，不管是老人生前多珍贵的东西。每次我都觉得不解和遗憾。但我以前从没想过老人养的宠物会去哪里，如果没有亲戚收养岂不是只能流浪了吗，希望大家多多善待流浪动物TT 故事有两个结局。不知道为什么在奈何桥上我存档了，但再读档就直接默认我进了其中一个结局。 好在游戏流程不长，打两遍也就这半小时。 离别就是很仓促的，没有这么多的时间。

This game looks attractive with its simple, yet beautiful art style. Story also looks interesting and makes you think it could be something emotional and soundtrack sounds good as well. But - and I'm sure everyone realizes it in first 10 minutes - this game has lots of negatives: soundtrack is just annoying after a short while, game freezes a lot during interactions, there is no fullscreen option and so on. However, that was not the dealbreaker for me: translation was. I don't know if they hired very bad translator or if it was meant to have so many silly texts... anyways, English text takes out every serious element from the game. They didn't even bother to put good font for it. I wanted to like this game, I really did. But developers made lots of rookie mistakes and didn't care to fix it in 9 years of its release.

偶然刷到古早的高质量剧情向轻解谜小游戏，水墨写意的画面太适合了，表现力好强！半小时流程的情况下剧情是完整又催泪的。 作为老游戏交互手感有点难受，不适配手柄，全屏不了（可能是我的问题？）
