Faraway: Puzzle Escape

Wonderful first person puzzler, a decent addition to the genre, and deserving of a positive review, however, I cannot give it a thumbs up before the devs fix this: There are two game-breaking bugs in the game that prevent your progress. One is a clue bug on level 14, in which the clues show completely the wrong thing, and apparently, in the Android version of the game, they show the correct thing. With them being wrong, your only options to progress in the game are looking up a guide or bruteforcing all the solutions, which could take a while. The other is a progression logic error on level 5- if you use your nut item on the second receptacle first instead of the first one you encounter, you can no longer pick it up, blocking your level progress entirely. Salt to the wound is that the game saves your bugged level state and you can't even reset the level inside the game. You have to go into the savefiles and delete the savefile for level 5 (it's called level4 in the savefile folder - Faraway-LevelId4.save), which lets you restart the level. It's sad that a cool game like this is marred by these awful errors.

Not for anyone thinking a puzzle should be more than just artificial cognitive load of working memory and arbitrarily having to go look everywhere where the developer might've "hid" a piece.

密室逃脱模拟器开发组的早期作品，从移动端移植到PC上，增加自由移动的功能，跑图时间大大增加，谜题逻辑简单似乎一脉相承，但是导剪版还剪了些bug，部分谜题感觉没对应上让人百思不得其解。 游戏坐落在埃及风格谜题岛上，虽然不见生命的活力，但是每关中三组隐藏字条的设置由浅入深，其中的情感寄托耐人寻味。 尽管在无人岛上，但是看到瓶瓶罐罐就砸的行为很没素质，好孩子不要学哦，就连够不着的罐子也要砸，不仅是没素质，而且非常坏心眼，BAD！

I like puzzle games and Faraway: Puzzle Escape for PC is definitely a good one! I say better than the mobile version by a lot (wouldn't take much though) 10/10

Chill puzzle game, but i think i got softlocked at one point as i was unable to receive the item to leave the map from solved puzzle. It either fell through ground or didnt spawn or something.

It was an enjoyable game to play but not amazing. I have the others on my wishlist but also decide to skip over them when they are on sale.

Good game with simple graphics. Some of the levels are very challenging. I felt like hitting the next level after finishing the last but it is now 3 AM in the morning. You do have to pay attention to your surrounding for finding the notes and pieces for solving some of the puzzles. Taking notes does help if your memory is not that good. Does not have repeat value unless you are attempting to get all the achievements. Some of the achievements are worth while, but we all have different opinions on what is a good achievement. Don't go by the negative reviews on getting this game. Everyone has different taste of the kind of games that interest them and this is a good game for those who like puzzle games and have good problem solving skills to match that interest.

Most of the puzzles were very easy - nowhere near Escape Simulator level - and there isn't much of a story to compensate.

Worked way better as a mobile game, but still a fun puzzle
