I love the Far Cry franchise and would recommend almost every Far Cry game, even Far Cry 6, but not Far Cry: New Dawn. Most of my issues come from the RPG mechanics, such as not being able to perform stealth kills on certain enemies simply because they're a higher tier than you. On top of that, the overpowered elite enemies can kill you with ease, which often feels more frustrating than challenging. My biggest complaints aren't even about the antagonists or the smaller map size. The game still has beautiful graphics, and it was great to see Joseph Seed return. However, the gameplay changes ultimately made the experience less enjoyable for me. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, but if I had to rate the game, I'd give it a 5/10.

After having played Far cry 2, Far cry 3, Blood Dragon and Far cry 5, this is absolutely one of the weaker entries in the whole series; Far cry is at its best when *all* enemies are threatening together, not just those of an artificially high rank.
