Far Cry® New Dawn

Giving a negative review because i bought this to play co op. But co op has a really bad game breaking bug where if you fast travel or have to restart a checkpoint player one gets stuck unable to move. We made it pretty far but keep getting soft locked and can't finish the story because of this bug and it's been in the game since launch.

Had a great time with Far Cry New Dawn! The colorful post-apocalyptic world was fun to explore, the gameplay stayed engaging from start to finish, and taking down outposts gets old but that far cry. I enjoyed it enough to 100% complete the game, and it was definitely worth the time. Short but fair.

It's not that New Dawn is a *bad* game. I would say it's meh. It unfortunately comes from this really weird time in gaming around 2016-2021, where games.. just kind of felt like they lost all spirit? There are obviously really good games that came out around this time, hell, Far Cry 5 is one of them, but this.. It just- it feels like Far Cry 5 was such a passion project, there was so much love and admiration poured into the world by everyone who developed it, but this game just feels kind of. Lifeless? I don't know, it really just isn't the same, which I get is kind of the point, because it's a sequel but they just changed so many things that never needed to be changed and- it just doesn't work. I would only ever suggest this game if you're a big Far Cry 5 fan, like myself. The story especially is the biggest gut punch. We went from such an interesting and deep story in FC5, one that was actually relevant to the world at the time it came out, to.. this? I *get* that it's post-apoc, and we have no idea what kind of people would come out of that, but the Highwaymen are just so.. plain! There's- why do we CARE, about these people as enemies? I get they're horrid people, but they're just so half ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ baked. And god, the music. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music. It's so godawful.

Najlepsza gra serii, szkoda że taka krótka. Ludzie hejtuja ja za elementy RPG i mapę z Farcry 5. Natomiast te RPGowe elementy się są takie mocne, podoba mi się craftowanie broni na różnych poziomach i różnie opancerzeni wrogowie w zależności od poziomu. Fajne są też wyprawy i powtarzanie posterunków za każdym razem z wyższym poziomem co jest czymś nowym w serii. Jeśli chodzi o mapę z Farcry 5 to wygląda ona tu mega dobrze, i moim zdaniem lepiej niż w oryginale. Mimo że są tu podobne budynki oraz lokacie to występują one totalnie przebudowane lub zniszczone, co daje efekt że niby znasz miejsce ale odkrywasz coś nowego.

If you want a far cry go buy the fifth one. its the best. Or the third one. actually any other part would do better than this one. Except for far cry 6. it's a longer version of new dawn with better visuals and a different setting.
