Don't buy this game, even on sale. I have so much to say about it. 1. Bugs everywhere: This game is absolutely riddled with bugs, especially in co-op. I got stuck in place after fast traveling about 80-90% of the time, which was incredibly frustrating. I kept getting black screens after capturing outposts, experienced several crashes, and sometimes missions just wouldn't appear at all. 2. Terrible optimization: It's very poorly optimized. I was getting lower FPS here than in Far Cry 5. 3. Awful story: The plot is garbage. No one cares about these two antagonists—why do they start talking and crying at the end? Nobody gives a single care. They just copy-paste missions from previous games, and they aren't interesting at all. Plus, they gave us superpowers... what is this surreal nonsense? It's not fun at all, especially with all the bugs around, and the worst part is that the friend you're playing with doesn't even get those powers. 4. Horrible RPG system: The new leveling system is incredibly bad. I don't know who came up with this idea, but it ruined the game. You literally have to grind just to be able to kill regular enemies and animals. 5. Ubisoft Connect is a joke: It keeps crashing and disconnecting, to the point where I couldn't even play with my brother. This issue started back in Far Cry 5, and they haven't fixed a single thing since. This "game" was clearly rushed out the door. I honestly don't know how you can make a product so bad that I hesitate to even call it a game. This is 100% the worst game in the entire series. To top it all off, I wanted to 100% complete this garbage for the achievements, but I can't. I bought all the maps, but apparently, if you do that, the NPCs around the world disappear, making it impossible to get the "Honorary Scout" achievement. GUYS, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING BETTER. It is not worth it, even if you are a Far Cry fan. I could write a whole book about how bad this is, but I'm done. Just trust me and skip it.
Compared to 5 its a third of the playtime to beat the game and a third of the fun.
Nope.
Had a great time with Far Cry New Dawn! The colorful post-apocalyptic world was fun to explore, the gameplay stayed engaging from start to finish, and taking down outposts gets old but that far cry. I enjoyed it enough to 100% complete the game, and it was definitely worth the time. Short but fair.
„Not every problem can be solved with a bullet.”
It's "meh" but kind of all right. It's the typical Far Cry gameplay and "format", and there is some fun and creative weapons too. But the story is quite week, but surprisingly not cringey, (cringe storytelling is usually the norm in Ubisoft's "woke era"). It's open world and you have a rather large level of freedom, so you can have fun playing this game. And the story is short, and best of all, not that many tedious tasks to do "everywhere", (unlike other titles from Ubisoft). So this game can be enjoyable. I would recommend this game, when on sale.
ну это кал на 8 часов
Giving a negative review because i bought this to play co op. But co op has a really bad game breaking bug where if you fast travel or have to restart a checkpoint player one gets stuck unable to move. We made it pretty far but keep getting soft locked and can't finish the story because of this bug and it's been in the game since launch.
