Reviews
Finally gave this game a try. 10/10 crazy good for a 10 year old game. Hurk and cheeseburger >>>>>
Far Cry 5 was, is, and always will be an incredible game. After almost 50 hours of playing, finishing the main story, and completing both DLCs, its time to right a review. Main game Pros: -The story is neat with the whole Eden's Gate cult thing going on, and the ending was well done. -The main character is unvoiced, which I find more immersive than as in Far Cry 4. -There are loads of guns to choose from, most are from previous games, but some are new. -Joseph Seed (The main villain) was very well done, in a mysterious/creepy kind of way. -Most of the other characters are done ok. Hurk is always a laugh, and I thought Nick Rye was cool. -The outfit system was a cool feature, which I'm glad to have heard made it into Far Cry 6. Cons: -Some of the achievements are stupidly hard like kill 5,000 zombies. Like, who decided that would be fun?! And to add to it, I hate it when you have achievements for multiplayer stuff, and that stuff is gonna shut down one day (If it isn't already, I haven't checked). -I wish the game was longer, or had some story after the ending, or a DLC that takes place right after. Now I am aware of Far Cry New Dawn, which actually takes place like 20 years after or something, but I've heard that game is crap anyways, so Ubisoft did try. Hours Of Darkness DLC Pros: -The setting is excellent in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. -For a short story, it was it was a fun adventure that shows what its like surviving in the middle of a war-zone. -Your companions can actually die, like forever die, which I found to be more immersive. -Your companions have unique personalities that can make things just a little more interesting. Cons: -After a while, as in most Far Cry games, the fear of the enemy fades away after a while, they are less of a challenge. Lost On Mars DLC Pros: -Mars was an unexpected yet interesting setting. -Guns are cool, and I had fun using them. -Hurk was funny, and his little "side mission" we'll call it, was hilarious, yet tedious. Cons: -Ending was predictable, unless your Hurk ;) -As funny as Hurk was, he did NOT shut up! -Jet pack thing sucked, I could barely get around. In conclusion The main game I would rate 9/10, I really did enjoy. DLCs... I world recommend Hours Of Darkness, and Lost On Mars and Dead Living Zombies if you really like the game.
