Fallow

A harrowing experience, and one that almost feels too real. Watching the trailer should give you an idea of if this game works for you or not. Mechanically, visually, and especially the music design is phenomenal, but that might not land if you aren't digesting the complex metaphors/aesthetics. I've watched play-throughs myself, so I wanted to financially support the project, but I have not been able to sit down and play it myself w/o needing to step away at times: The game isn't scared to show some very raw depictions of trauma and emotion. It should be said that this is still fundamentally a game. A lot of heavier, more mature games can boil down to a walking simulator (which is good in it's own right) but Fallow is pretty mechanically diverse with a lot of interesting puzzles.
