THE GAME IS THE BEST BAT MY ENGLISH IS SOOO BAD BUT THE GAME IS VERY GOD BUT THE GLICH IN GAME THEY ARE SOMETIMES ANNOYING
Not the best quests compared to Fallout 4, but still fun to play with friends
fun
I saw some gross ghoul and the game wont let me kill it. God bless the Enclave
If you want to play something like this, but which is actually a decent game, consider just playing either Fallout 3 or 4. It's sad, because there's obviously a lot of content here that people did put care into making, and this could be made into a pretty decent experience mostly by simply removing stuff. Drop the microtransaction shop altogether. Allow people to play single-player and drop the notifications and stuff that repeatedly break immersion. Online would actually be kind of nice if I actually wanted to play with friends at some point, but putting me on an online server with random people mostly also just trying to play solo is not really going to be enhancing my experience. In fact, it explicitly interrupted it when I got told the world I was on was going down for maintenance and I should switch to another one. The other thing that I feel is very off, having played other games in the series, is the enemy AI. The enemies will often just shoot you or melee attack you once and then just stand there doing nothing for enough time that they won't get another attack in before they're dead. Keep in mind that I've only experienced the first few hours of the campaign before giving up on this (I got it as part of Humble Choice so while I did pay something for it, I don't feel too committed to going on). I have no idea how it gets later, but the combat didn't start off strong. Individual enemies have all seemed trivial. Occasionally a swarm can feel a little hectic until you notice that nothing does very significant damage, so it takes quite a long time for your health bar to go down even if you just stand there. I went in and took out a base full of raiders by hip firing a sniper rifle, and felt little need to even really take cover or be all that stealthy. I'm still wearing my vault outfit and leather armour. Occasionally needed a stimpack to heal all the bits of chip damage, but I never got below about 40% health, and I was playing every situation kind of stupidly and letting the enemies shoot at me. VATS is obviously messed up by the online nature of the game, as it can't give you the bullet time that it usually does, and it seems like to make up for that, they've just nerfed the hell out of all the enemies, and that means it doesn't matter if you're using VATS or not, it feels unsatisfying and awkward. The inventory management is also an issue, much more of an issue than in Fallout 4. The game basically twisted my arm into not picking up so many junk items because you get encumbered really easily and if you're encumbered, you won't be able to fast travel back to your camp to stash or do much with them. But then without junk items, you don't have the raw materials to craft stuff, so that system just ends up feeling kind of bad. Probably the intent is to sell the solution to this problem via the microtransaction shop, but really? Who do they take us for? Even if personally I have enough money that I could pay for this "solution" indefinitely without feeling it in my wallet, the game sucks too much because of it to want to offer up my money in the first place. (Also, I hate the entire concept of paying for player advantage in online games, or game companies ruining the experience intrinsically by trying to nickel and dime me after I've already bought their game, but that's almost beside the point.) By sitting down and mostly deleting plainly obnoxious things from the game, and then bringing over monster AI code and balance numbers from their other games, it seems like they could pretty quickly turn this into something great, and keeping the *option* of playing together with friends would even make it stand out in the series. But it seems clear at this point that it is what it is, and what it is doesn't really seem worth your time even if you consider only the other products made by the same company. You'd get more enjoyment from just playing through Fallout 3 for a second or third or fourth time.
took me 76 hours to say fo76 is a pretty good game
Genuinely bad. Just play red dead online, or any other fallout game, such a waste of my time.
At the point of writing, I have over 600 hours in this game. I have played since before the Nuclear Winter Update up to this most recent one and I have seen this game grow through the love of the development team. I believe the team has earned the right to have a better budget to provide better content for the community. Bethesda has not released an mainline entry into the IP since the Xbox One, and this game has done it's duty in keeping the name "Fallout" in the mouths of gamers. The setting is incredible, the NPCs are a welcome addition, the Raids are fun, and the game rewards you for actually participating in it. Lastly, the online community in game is some incredible folks. If you need a setting that you can disassociate from your hard day in the real world, this is a pretty good one to enjoy.
personally, i like fallout 4 better but this seems pretty good from the few hours i've played so far
