I would definitely buy this on sale. Contratry to other posts, the DLC is worth it, just not at full price. I like the Far Harbor and Nuka-World expansions. Nuka-World gave me a reason to be evil instead of just acting like my character was evil. If you want to be an awesome good guy, just walk in there and kill everyone, but you miss out on some REALLY good perks. Far Harbor really brought out the detective in me. I felt there was something missing with the Nick Valentine quest line. There's on 2 cases you can do and one of those ends in a dead end. It felt they could have done more and they did with Far Harbor. The Automatron DLC was a nice way to bring in robots. The Machinist Lair isn't a viable settlement, but you can create your robots there and use them as provisioners from there to all your settlements, thus saving the happiness rating of all your settlements. The Workshop DLC was probably the low point of this DLC, but the ability to build your own factory to produce the items you need vs. finding them in the world helps. Vault-Tec DLC gave you a new settlement and the ability to build your own vault above ground, but thats about it.

Since the DLC's that I recommend purchasing add up to more than the season pass i recommend this over buying individual DLC as you will get extra for less.

This season pass is really worth the cash in my opinion. Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka World are good fun and will add another 30-60 hours of gameplay total. I think most negative reviews are because of the price. On sale you can get it for 50% off.
