Fallout 4 Season Pass

If you find this on sale for 1/3 or 1/4 of its normal price, than it's actually available for what it should normally be priced at... and it's not a terrible purchase under those conditions. You should only ever pay full price for this if you thought that Fallout 76 was a brilliantly well made game, and you really want to support a game company who'll lie to you and do anything they can now to manipulate you out of your money with scummy business practices which are illegal in many first world countries.

I wouldn't recommend paying full price for the season pass at all, but if it's on sale for $20 or less I'd say it's worth it. It adds about an extra 20-40 hours of gameplay onto Fallout 4 depending on how thoroughly you explore and take advantage of its content. Far Harbor is probably the best Fallout add-on so far and offers a great story and a different type of landscape from the base game. Nuka-World has a lot of people torn because it basically forces you to become a raider but I personally thought exploring the park was really cool. Automatron adds a fun questline culminating with you coming face to face with the Mechanist and allows you to craft your own robot companions. It's very useful to be able to have your own personal Sentry Bot bodyguard at all times. The remaining packs all have to do with workshop building and add new things for you to build. Some of the stuff seems pointless but others, like the machines that can build ammo from your junk, can be extremely useful. If you enjoyed Fallout 4 you'll probably enjoy the season pass, definitely something to pick up on sale though as it is not worth $50 anymore.
