Typing game with retro graphics that consists of clearing falling words by typing them out. 3 difficulties, with harder ones having harder/longer words that fall off the screen faster. Once a single word reaches the bottom, the game ends. No other game modes, so the game has limited replayability. Keyboard inputs may randomly lockup and result in a game over. The font is horrible in that many letters look alike and might be hard to differentiate from each other - i.e. O and D, While achievements are easy to obtain, getting them is unclear for newer players - there are three sets of achievements, and one achievement is given per round with at least one word completed. Of course, the worst aspect is the price, this game might be somewhat worth at a buck or two, but at 15US$ or so? No way. 3/10
tl;dr
monkeytype - the game
Overview
Typing exercise meets gamification with three difficulty settings (easy, medium, hard). Hone your keyboard skills by typing the words that fall from the sky. Gather points and achieve new highscores as you improve. If you are too slow, your run will end.
The Good Stuff
The minimalistic art style is quite nice and it is a somewhat "productive" game to play when you have only a short timespan to cover. Also, through the nature of the falling words, after a while you will get the good old "♥♥♥♥-I-played-Guitar-Hero-too-long-now-the-wall-won't-stop-moving" feeling in your head. Yeah.
The Sorta-Kinda-Grinds-My-Gears-Stuff
The font fits the style, but it is not that easy to read at times. Some letters take some getting used to. Also, for some words that start with a capital letter, it doesn't really show, because everything is one size. In a game where you have to identify words fast this should not be an issue.
The Atrociously-Bad Stuff
Nothing terrible. The game kinda just delivers what it advertised.
Achievement-Hunter-Things
Achievements are easy, just complete several runs per difficulty level. Each run should earn you an achievement. They don't unlock immediately, sometimes a full restart is necessary.
Conclusion
There is not that much to say. What you see is all there is, but if you are looking for a casual motivation to improve your typing skills, the game delivers on that. I'd probably wait for a sale tho.
Falling words
Jogo de digitação que cumpre o que promete. Pode ser interessante jogar também pelas conquistas e tbm tem o placar de classificação caso vc curta competir contra outros jogadores.

3.0/10 A poorly made retro pixel-art typing game that's barely passable as a time-killer when you're bored out of your mind, but offers absolutely nothing else. The gameplay is monotonous: words fall from the sky, and you have to type them to eliminate them. Its so-called three difficulty modes merely increase the word drop speed and length. Additionally, the game suffers from keyboard input recognition bugs. Initially, I thought it was just glitches, but later discovered certain words require switching to caps lock to register. After typing these words, you must immediately switch back to lowercase—otherwise, the next word won't register either. Yet every word in this game is spelled entirely in uppercase letters with zero hints. You're forced to rely solely on reflexes and lightning-fast recognition. Even more absurdly, its pixel font is notoriously hard to decipher and completely counterintuitive, causing me to frequently mix up letters—like mistaking "B" for "A" or "O" for "D". In summary, this is a thoroughly subpar typing game. Setting aside the expectation that a decent typing game should offer diverse and engaging modes, this one delivers a fundamentally poor typing experience. I strongly advise against it. (Note: Its greatest value might lie in community features, as achievements unlocked can be displayed in spelling showcases.)
pretty terrible font for a typing game
I played this game for about 25 minutes when i started losing my sanity, my keyboard keys are too far apart and every-time i try and type something i hit the wrong ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ button. Even when i do hit the right button though it doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work. This game is making me lose my sanity, I've contracted severe anal haemorrhoids, Dementia, Dementia, Dementia, Dementia, Dementia, Depression, Endometriosis, Epilepsy, Erectile dysfunction, Eye cancer, Eye disorders, Fatigue, Fibroids, Fibromyalgia, Foreign Accent Syndrome, Farting, Flu, Food poisoning, Fungal nail infection, Gallbladder cancer, Gallstones, Genital herpes, Gonorrhea, Gum disease, Graves' disease, Hallucinations, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Hay fever, Hearing loss, Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E, Herpes, High cholesterol, HIV 10/10 would recommend
Two fatal flaws no typing game should ever have. 1. Keyboard inputs randomly stop working 2. A font thats very easily the worst possible font for a typing game. E and B are particularly bad. Overall, if you want a reason to clack away at keys, be my guest. Otherwise, this will irritate the ♥♥♥♥ outta most people.
Logros para el expositor del perfil fáciles de conseguir. El juego en sí no está mal para practicar la rapidez con la que escribes y/o matar el tiempo.
