About
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities. The multiplayer component for this expansion is no longer available.

Bullet Time FPS ✔️
A great FPS and a great horror solely because of the atmosphere it creates and the perfectly timed scares.
F.E.A.R. is one of those games that proves great execution can carry a relatively straightforward story. The plot was enjoyable, but I found most of the major twists fairly predictable. What kept me hooked was the atmosphere, the presentation, and especially the combat. The sound design is phenomenal. Hearing Replica soldiers coordinate, flank, and react to your actions adds a level of immersion that many modern shooters still struggle to match. Combined with the excellent AI, every firefight feels dynamic and dangerous. The combat remains the star of the show. The weapons feel powerful, the shotgun is incredibly satisfying, and the bullet time mechanic is beautifully implemented. Slow-motion gunfights never got old. My biggest criticism is the level design. While the atmosphere is consistently strong, the environments become repetitive. Too much of the game takes place in similar-looking offices, corridors, and corporate facilities. I kept wishing the developers would lean further into the supernatural and surreal elements instead of grounding so much of the experience in generic office spaces. Despite that, the pacing is excellent, the campaign doesn't overstay its welcome, and the combination of horror and action still works remarkably well. If you're looking for a story-driven FPS with fantastic combat, outstanding sound design, and an atmosphere that holds up surprisingly well, F.E.A.R. is still worth playing today.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Absolute peak! I love this game from top to bottom, and it has now taken a spot as one of my favorite games. It has some of the most satisfying combat I think I've ever played, because you get really creative and silly when taking on the enemies. One of the main things you'll be doing is using the slow-motion reflex mechanic, and this made for some sick as hell moments as I found myself diving headfirst into battle and clearing out rooms before they knew what happened, which is always fun to do. The guns feel nice to shoot and sound punchy. There's a good variety, and they are very fun to use, ranging from your standard assault rifles and SMGs to the wacky laser rifles and shock cannons. Enemy AI is the big standout of the game. These replicant soldiers that you fight aren't your typical stupid grunts. They are actually smart and can overwhelm you if you are reckless. They will try to flank you, ambush you from multiple angles, use cover effectively, communicate with each other, and change tactics based on whatever you're doing. The story is gripping and intriguing, with some very interesting lore on Alma and Armacham. It does a very good job with its environmental storytelling and slowly reveals through phone messages, audio logs, and other pieces of info the backstory of what happened, as well as the connection between Point Man (the player) and the main villain. Being a psychological horror game, it does an incredible job mixing horror and action throughout with its dark and unsettling atmosphere. The game is really good at building tension, and while I wasn't really scared per se, I really like the unnerving feeling that Alma could pop up at any moment and scare me with her tiny presence. If there was anything to complain about, I'd say the environment can be a bit repetitive. The game mostly takes place inside tight office spaces, warehouses, and laboratories, and it can feel like I'm fighting through the same area over and over. Also, enemy variety is a bit lacking, as you're fighting the same group of enemies for pretty much the whole game. Overall, this game is a masterclass in action-horror and has aged like the finest wine. Get this game if you haven't already. You will not regret it.
very good
ilk çıktığında oynamıştım 2026 bidaha denedim tabi o ilk heyecanı vermedi ama yinede bazen germedi değil biraz diyalog biraz çatışma patlama birazcık korku sırayla gidiyor sen uzak dur küçük kız ALMA....
My favourite part of the game is when Fettel says ''It's F.E.A.R.ing tim and F.E.A.R.ed all over the place
This game is 8/272 in my unplayed games backlog journey. I'm so happy I finally got to beat this game as when it came out I was like 10 and didn't have a gaming PC but REALLY wanted to play it. It's still easy to see why today, even now it's an utterly unique blend of japanese influenced horror, and sci-fi/military shooter with some John Woo stylings thrown in as well. As an action/horror game though, I think the funny thing is this game will always feel distinctly split as well. As a shooter game, it's one of my favorites I've ever played. The lighting and physics make every gunfight feel exciting. The slow mo works just as it should where it gives you an advantage if you know when to use it and makes you feel cool as hell. But the main attraction here is the AI. I've never played a single player game where the AI feels so tightly designed that they almost feel real. The game honestly leans on just how good it is, since it doesn't introduce too much throught the course of the game. It gives you new locations, some new guns, and some enemies who take more shots. But ultimately the AI is so well designed to be a challenge that it literally never gets boring to fight them. You might start to develop strategies to succeed against them, but nonetheless it's still so much fun. The other "half" of this game is as a horror game. This is where to me, as a fan of horror games, it doesn't really succeed. But I can hardly fault it for a few reasons. The good part is that the game knew the horror segments should build mystery and detail the plot. So rather than boring dialogue or cinematics where the plot is labored out, the horror segments use visually creative ways to dole out the story inbetween the gunfights. They're peppered in so infrequently I honestly looked forward to them even though, like I said, I never found them scary. I'm sure people who don't normally play horror games may still find real horror in it, but many people share my sentiments on this. It's just hard to feel scared when the scary segments pose no real threat in a shooter game. Resident Evil feels scary because one zombie means many chances to mess up, and if you mess up you go to your last save half an hour ago. Even the somewhat tacked on ghosts towards the latter half of the game feel like fodder to your roided up player character soldier. Although the game is so well paced and action packed, the plot doesn't need to be great but I was surprised just how good it is. The actual plot is pretty straightforward i.e. go here, do this, save this person. But, it's the lore that builds around the environment and horror segments that really pique your interest. It gives something great to look forward to while running around the mysterious locations and randomly getting jpegs of dead bodies on the screen. By the end, I was genuinely curious where the next game would go with what they were setting up but also felt it was a good conclusion for the story they set up here. So yeah, fantastic shooter, I would argue one of the best taking influences from many great games like Half-Life. Just don't expect to be scared unless you're really not used to horror atmosphere.
