About
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities. The multiplayer component for this expansion is no longer available.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

a very interesting story for the time the game was released
This isn't a negative review because of the price, its just a bad game. Well being bad would improve the game, its much worse, its boring. The combat is generic, AI boring, levels repetitive, and the game can't bother committing to anything. I'm befuddled by the positive reviews. Its like that slapped together a bunch of half made games, added some voiceover and called it done. Each level has its own gimmick. In one level you got trucks chasing you down. Then they disappear. In another level you're running across rooftops with snipers chasing you, then the rooftops get yanked. And to go from one to another you drop in a hole, or climb in an elevator. Each one has the same neboulous "catch up with Fettel" objective. Its like they copied Half-Life's level ideas without understanding how they worked and how they were connected. At least it doesn't have a canyon level. The story, exists? I don't expect much from an FPS but every level is just piling on cliches for the propping up the "locate Fettel" objective. Even M Night Shamalyn has to wonder if the twist is too obvious. I assume the protagonist is brain damaged since its mentioned more than once that he hasn't "realized the truth". The amount of resource that must have gone into voicework and character creation should provide a better story than just following TVTropes ilnks. Either have a story, or don't. Commit to whatever you're going to do. The AI and enemy placement is just stupid. A couple hours in I thought I accidently set the difficulty to easy just because of how easy it was to blast through the levels, but nope it was on hard. People who think its good must have never played Half-Life, Quake, or anyone of the other games that or any of the other games which came out earlier. All enemy encounters follow the rule of 3. 3 bad guys in an encounter. every. Single. TIME. If you didn't kill 3 you missed one. And they either run away and hide behind a box or follow each other single file. I wanted to have a moment where I went in blasting with the repeater. But no, the enemies all bunched up and got blown to hell in one shot. Even Doom with its simplistic AI gave them random movement. The level design is repetitive. More than once I got turned around because I was in copy 572 of the same room and couldn't remember if that door was the exit or entrance. I get resources were limited but its like every level was someone hitting Ctrl+C Ctrl+V over and over again with some unnecessary mazes connecting everything.
This game is SO good! I strangely heard about it from a mall sales person because they thought my shirt looked like a power up from the game so thank you to that person! I'm SO glad I looked into it! I HIGHLY recommend this game!
absolute (videogame) cinema
Шикарно играется и не чувствуется старой до сих пор.
Still a great experience, I remember playing this as a kid couple of times, when I was young I can't even finish it, then later finished it and this time when I reach 40 I played through again with a graphic mod. So awesome feel this game again, highly recommended!
