We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
About
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities. The multiplayer component for this expansion is no longer available.

F.E.A.R. is one of the best first person shooters ever made, only let down by some repetitive level design and a very silly difficulty system. To get it out of the way immediately, F.E.A.R. is to be played on only the hardest possible difficulty unless this is literally your first FPS game ever. Without the proper difficulty setting this game turns from an incredibly thrilling, incredibly fun romp into a boring game where you shoot enemies who can never harm you in a way that matters and also you have slow-mo I guess. This is not some Dark Souls "get good" sentiment, it is the key to making the game's systems work as intended. On anything below Extreme Difficulty, you will never lean around corners, you will never use Slow-Mo as anything but a gimmick, you will never have to strategize, and you will be FLOODED with health-kits that you can use instantly with one button press so you never die. Trust me on this! Otherwise, F.E.A.R. just feels incredible. The shotgun in this game is legendary. The horror elements are lackluster, but they add to the non-stop anxiety of never knowing if the thing around the corner will be an enemy or a scare (another thing that is lost if the enemies aren't a real threat!) The game works like Halo, where enemies drop weapons with a limited ammo supply to try and make you use the different weapons, and the rate at which you run out of ammo in a gun is balanced *just* good enough to make every weapon change feel like a real decision on whether or not you risk dropping a great gun for something more ammo-rich. The game still looks pretty good and has some really incredible emergent systems that stem from the art design, like how shooting the surroundings will kick up dust and debris that can cloud your view, forcing you to fall back for a moment as it clears from the air as well as making it extra important you don't miss your shots. Shooting enemies in the head with each and every bullet made possible by the game's famous bullet-time mechanic just feels awesome. I love this game dearly.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Certified Classic FPS mixing Horror and Action to a over the top level with Sci-fi weapons, Best 2005 Shooter Game.
The Greatest Ever
Quality title. Little buggy to get running on modern systems, but the gameplay is very solid. AI and gunplay were leagues ahead of their time, inspiring titles like Trepang2. Worth a shot if you haven't played it before!
One of the greatest First-Person Shooter ever
