Reviews
Saber! I know you guys watch over Steam Reviews, and Discussions, please LISTEN! Ignore the numbers and the part of the community that complained. Finish putting out the rest of the content you guys had planned, but do it slowly. Expeditions is worth it if you take it as a RunnerVerse game and not a straight up addition to the mainline games! You're only suffering now because you're choosing to actively ignore and not support the community that's still here, no matter how large it is.
Keep supporting the game for the people that are still here... Not the players who complained!
On discount sales, this game still gets sales, still grows, still has DLC purchased, and still receives positive reviews! This copout from Saber is weird. If you can look past that, Expeditions is an incredible adventure for the Runner games. It's just as involved as MudRunner, SnowRunner, & Roafcraft, it just takes the formula and does something entirely different. A lot can be said. Single player, it's still the great and good old tonka truck style experience, where learning to navigate, drag trucks around, and completing miniscule tasks becomes addictive. The campaign is tiring, but good, the sandbox is something you can lose a lot of time to. Really all depends on your level of investment. There are so many elements that make it feel like a new experience that just wears the paint of having the same incredible physics engine, same off-roading, & fun task completion. Being able to properly lower tire pressure to scale things, or take a different route or method to completing your tasks, is such a life saver! Look, I get how Saber marketed the game, and I get how it feels misleading. Though Saber is good at what they do, and the game really makes up for it. Love you, Saber! Love the community, let's save these games so they don't go absent of content, whether you were a fan or not. We can get this game back on the right track.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wanted to make proper review of Expeditions, but you also didn't bother polishing your game so why should I spend any more time writing this? Here's few points I wrote down while playing: - you can't place bridges anywhere, - there are missions where you have to reach certain meters traveled, yet there's no tracker in hud or somethin until end of mission, - you can't use all you vehicles at once unlike other games in free roam, you can use enough, but garage exists in some different realm than maps, - no option to change time (or I didn't find it), - cargo doesn't feel real, it doesn't matter if it's bones. equipment or camera, it's just item in your inventory that doesn't have different shape and weight, - vehicles feel like "bricks on wheels" jumping like a mule on every small rock, frame doesn't bend, - why the hell does engine of towed vehicle turn off the moment I release the rope!? Also I'm okay with not stealing fuel from towed truck but why can't I refuel it!?, - why does metal detector detect airdrops I already emptied?, - any reason why I can't use steering when vehicle is flipped with engine off? at least for scout class!, - discovering climbs/fords works only sometimes? + difficulity is finally enough, I had fun in some difficult spots - not even to mention horrible bugs while using steering wheel - cursor staying in the middle of your view and stuff like that - achievements not popping unil you exit to desktop
A great game but sadly no more content updates
The hate is not justified. This has been my favorite runner game, love the smaller vehicles and more focus on the mini expeditions. Feels like a true exploration off-roading game. i'm so thankful its not like snow-runner and this game doesn't make itself competition with snow-runner as i own both. I get snow-runner is loved but wish this got the same care cause this game is amazing solo and with friends. Get it while its on sale, with the year 1 pass thats the edition worth the money. pioneer pack is nonsense and not needed.
Promising game, but greedy company and a publisher. Decided to stop developing it prematurely (gave up because of financial and community pressure, instead of making it better)...
Game looks great, and plays great. I tried it when it first came out on a demo. I recently (within the last 4 months) bought it. It still plays well, and looks great. A lot of the reviews I seen are not the games fault. Some people should stick to console as PC is too hard for them apparently. I haven't had any bugs, crashes, freezes, or anything of the such. Not in the demo and not now in full version. I've played mudrunner I played snowrunner. So far I prefer Expeditions. It's a shame that it got so much hate. Mostly because people wanted a second snowrunner, not expeditions. But I personally prefer expeditions. I've played it on keyboard/mouse and I am currently playing with my PS5 controller (I bought the controller for my PC, I don't own a console). I haven't any any issues with the controller. No popups or forcing me to an external store of any kind. So many of the reviews are false it's almost criminal. If they release another expeditions game I'll buy it as soon as I can.
too little progression too much DLC (day one)
this game got done dirty IMO, and now its dead. saber did their last content update on this game and it made me sad enough to write a review. here is the TLDR: I would get the year one edition on sale if you can. if you like offroading for the sake of offroading, this game has quite a lot to offer you. if you like big missions that involve a lot of logistics, this game isn't going to scratch that itch. If you like that, you should try snowrunner or roadcraft instead. No, its not snowrunner again, which seems to be all that people really want out of Saber. And yes the missions feel a bit silly from time to time. There is a lot of "drive to this point for misc. task X" and you dont end up having a big impact on the map like you do in many snowrunner maps. Snowrunner though, in spite of what people will say about it, can also be a buggy mess. the game with throw a physics tantrum, or make you restart an entire multi-stage potentially hours long mission because you dared to go do something else. these problems never Happened to me in Expeditions. Snowrunner will almost literally 100 to 0 a trucks suspension because you hit an invisible tree limb that was under a road while you were in high gear. Expeditions damn near encourages you to go over light terrain at speed. This feels more realistic to me. these vehicles - yes even the small ones - are more capable than people realize. sand or packed dirt shouldn't bring your vehicle to a crawl. the equipment system was this games big addition. A lot of people didn't really seem to like this, because it often times feels unnecessary. you can put a truck into low and crawl it into and out of many situations like you would in snowrunner. I would argue that this is missing the point. You can literally scale down (and then back up) a mountain using the anchors to create your own winch points. you can often times use this to skip big chunks of the map to get to objectives easier. The screw-jack is maybe a bit of an odd one, as all its lets you do is put a vehicle back onto its tires, and this seems like its there to save you from a mistake. It technically is, but knowing that you have two or more free oopsies lets you drive a bit more aggressive or take more treacherous routes with confidence. For me, this best new thing is the binoculars and drone, they let you scout around. instead of finding a big dumb tower or pulling a trailer that houses a radar unit, you can now simply find a big ass hill and look around. Like I said, i think this game got done dirty. the launch was bad, But through a year of tweaks and patches and new content, it really came into its own for me. the actual driving feels better than snowrunner IMO, and the manual gearbox feels great to use. my one real complaint is that some of the DLC vehicles feel straight up overpowered. the Ford pack especially is downright insane.
