It's fine, but I will stay with snowrunner. The game isn't interesting and too messy with all the mechanic stuff. I prefer driving than collecting and setting trucks mechanic cards. I had more fun with collecting trucks... Also the vehicles desighn is too agresive compared to the real ones. Also the costumisation in the game very strict - only cages, small roifrack add ons and that basically it. I'm not surprised that saber continued snowrunner until roadcraft came along... Not recomended as a contine for snowrunner and it isn't fun as it is.
dont treat this game as a 'runner game. it's not really. but if you treat this as a getaway wanderer and you also like offroading challenges, its pretty good. i think the two things that i dont like most about it, are: 1) that saber is still relying on the storyless financial progression to carry everything, and in this game, is has a hard time. or maybe im having a hard time because its boring and overly tight with no real sense of progression or purpose. again, though, i treat it as a drive around wanderer sim, which, while it does make it worth seeking out to play, does vastly lowers its value to me, and absolutely should to you, too. and 2) i find myself spending too much time on the map, plotting routes and stuff. because i do want to drive around, but because driving around is challenging, the need to macro pathfind is absolute, lest you find yourself stuck in a dumb route and have to *cringe*.... backtrack. it's not the pathfinding, itself that i have a problem with, its that this, realistically ends up being the entire game, along with the need to penny pinch the the n^th degree because money is so tight. I guess what im saying is, the GAME portion of this game isnt really that well thought out, and, while it is worth playing, if your mood changes at all, it pretty quickly ends up feeling pointless and like a chore. like ill sit there playing for a few hours, then when i try to think about what to do next, im just like 'why am i even doing this ♥♥♥♥ over and over? whats the point?' ive had this feeling before in previous 'runner games, but... i guess there's just so little meat on these bones. lots of bones, very little meat. also, they're very obviously using generative ai in several places, which feels really rotten and super unethical to pay for, consume, or give any attention to, because gen ai is entirely based on stolen work and a framework of systemic and widespread privacy violations as the core business model. badbadbadbadbad also the ux in menus and stuff isn't great. needs work. feels like copy pasted from previous games/engines with minimal rework to make functional. all in all, this is less a game, and more of a "can we do this to make more money?" product, and players are very much the users. not customers. probably worth it if you get it in a humble bundle or for like 5 usd without dlc, or 10 total including dlc. asking anything over that is a joke. if you're a new 'runner genre player, this will feel like a fumbly mess. if you're a longtime 'runner genre player, this is a fumbly mess that you need to know what this is. oh also, i drove through some of the caves in the dlc. its less 'spelunking' and more railshooter type cave, where its technically a cave, but its more like a very wide path with a few loops and techically has a ceiling. i dont know why it didnt really work emotionally for me, but it was only okay. maybe they should have blocked the use of maps or reduce the fog-of-war reveal radius, beucase not once did i ever feel cramped in. ah, another thing is that the engine sfx sim is still ♥♥♥♥♥. the physics is still programmed weird. i really want saber to do a complete rework of the physics and modeling to make it better, because they're going in the wrong direction. make the simulation more realistic. yeah i think that's all my thoughts on it. i still remain in wait for a product that fulfills my desires and needs.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TLDR: Bad reviews aren't really deserved, IMO. Multiplayer has bugs here and there but nothing gamebreaking. This isn't a sequel of Snowrunner/Mudrunner. Expeditions is best described as "Snowrunner but scouts only". Most of the gameplay is traversing difficult off-road terrain on jeeps. Physics are similar to Snowrunner, I'm not seeing any simplifications there (even though some cars seemingly have lower center of gravity). Many trucks from Snowrunner are in this game too, but there are new ones as well. This game is mostly open-world, but now there are also missions which have a beginning and an end. + Graphics are very good, and Expeditions@Ultra looks better than Snowrunner@Ultra (denser vegetation, less glitchy shadows); + It's optimized better than most modern games; + Scouting is quite fun; + Compared to Snowrunner, there are new game mechanics (tire pressure, drones, special items). - No cargo hauling at all; - Infrastructure building is there but feels much less impactful; - Multiplayer still has bugs here and there.
Wow, what a disappointment. Normally I'm optimistic about mixed reviews but this time they're pretty much justified. While great in concept, the execution of this game is very poor. As a third installment to the runner series, it brings all the errors from the previous games and then goes on to add some of its own. Instances make for a poor game experience and many quest are made with the intention of wasting time. While the whole runner series is quite the time consuming genre, Expeditions in particular has its quest design made to make your rerun missions. The quest system expects you to know the quest before even playing it to make the experience enjoyable. Some quests in freeroam need you to hire certain specialist before you even do them limiting how much you can accomplish in a single session. Additionally, many objectives are placed just to burn time or as misguides to trip up your journey as they don't even progress the objective. With the introduction of cosmetics locked behind tokens, some of the challenges are outright ridiculous and have such stringent completion requirements. And that doesn't even mention the bugs the plague this game. The only hope this game has is the new DLCs and QOL that they bring. As someone who has fully completed mudrunner and a good portion of snowrunner, skip this game and stick to the new seasons of snowrunner. Save yourself the hassle.

After nearly 300 hours in Snowrunner, I don't know if I can recommend this. While the game is quite good, it's not for me. This game is an arcaderized (that's a word now) version of the scouting in Snowrunner with extra bits attached. To me, the driving feels simpler than Snowrunner, but it's by no means easy. It's just a different mindset, different set of upgrades, in essence it has a different vision. My main gripe must be the mission structure, on one hand missions aren't bad in of themselves, but then there's sidequests in the world which you can do in different missions(?). And to my completionist, borderline autistic, possibly ADHD brain it tried to catch me, but fumbled completely. I think what kept me from turning Snowrunner off was that the world didn't "end" when you finished a goal. Here you have to go back out to the menus before you can go back in, and that kills the momentum for me. (tl;dr): This game isn't bad (it's quite good), but I mentioned Snowrunner 4 times... interpret that as you will.
