About
Exogate Initiative is a management/base-building game that’ll take you from a humble rec room to the edge of creation. In the near future, a new technology allows us to travel instantly to anywhere in the universe via portals known as Exogates. An international initiative is created to develop these portals and explore the worlds beyond.
As head of the initiative, you’ll lead mankind into the vast unknown, where we never dreamed to tread.

Plan, excavate and build a sprawling underground research facility.
Dig anywhere on the map & add new rooms and specialised equipment as the initiative grows in scope.
Make a home away from home! You will need to provide for your team's emotional and physical needs.
Defend your base from hostile aliens and study them to unlock new weapons

Recruit, train and manage specialists from all around the universe.
Recruit explorers, known as ‘Gaters’ (humans or aliens), to explore and study the universe. Gaters are fully autonomous and come with a unique background.
Unlock new classes as you play. You’ll need scientists to study flora and fauna, scholars to decipher, soldiers to keep everyone safe and more.
Care for your team as they face the unknown. Ensure they have the right equipment, as well as food, shelter and emotional support.
Team members will develop relationships with each other and will mourn when someone dies.

Assemble a team of experts and send them across the universe through the Exogate.
Resist, defeat and negotiate with other factions thanks to a dedicated 4X gameplay.
Gaters perform missions autonomously but will check in with you for crucial decisions. Interact with our explorers, make life-to-death decisions and discover endless possible outcomes
Make contact with alien life, and write reports about your discovery to secure financing.
Teams will return with samples that can be developed into valuable new technology. Earn money for your investors and help the initiative grow.

East to pick up, harder to put it down. The writing has good humour with lots of little stories told through gate exploration, in place of an of over-arching main story.
tl;dr: not perfect but ~22h fun for a fair price Well, I am huge fan of all Stargate series and films. Nice: I like the story writing and the decisions in the mission dialogs have a lot of RPG feeling. May at one point in Time we get some AI generate Scenes of the events ;). Okay features: Lot of mechanics - base building, combat, attack, diplomacy, research, credits fundings, ... This game does a lot and sadly most "decision" are not giving you the impression that you are "in control" E. g. Manage fundings and patent research which is driven by the random monthly bonuses while you can not really control which samples you have or stockpile.... Or finding artifacts.... and so on Annoying: Round based combat in dialog vs. other clients
I mean it is the general hammond simulator. But the game simulation breaks after a while where no team will go through the gate so softlocks unfinishable, it also has a memory leak taking all ram on the PC, until the OS killed it.
Vielen lieben Dank! Ich habe dieses Spiel gerne gespielt und muss sagen - als Fan des Film Stargate war es mir ein vergnügen. Normalerweise habe ich immer ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge, aber das hier... super!
I like, - The game play is fun and funny at times. - Good tutorial help while you play, you aim to complete the tutorial checkboxes and you learn how to play while your achieving them. - I found the game addictive once I followed the tutorial suggestions. DIdn't Like, - Sometimes it's hard to make points for studying things to improve your base when you need people to explore but need higher level dudes to explore so it's successful. - I didn't like when I ran out of money and my guys walked off the job made it impossible for me to manage the teams and get to a state I'm making money again, it just fell appart. All in all, thumbs up from me, it's fun.
The only good Stargate game ever made. (Yes, yes I know... but Amazon or whoever owns the license should shoot the Devs some cash to get this to the next level).
its a Stargate SG-1 emulator basically.
bon jeu de gestion et d'optimisation point négatif , j'ai pas aimé le système d'influence ou il faut réduire celle des autres et protéger la notre
Game is probably pleasant, but lacks good presentation and sound design
Ah !!
