Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders is an action-adventure RPG with base-building elements, where you take on the role of a classic hero who stands up to the tyranny and injustice that haunts Sherwood. As Robin, you’ll fight, hunt, craft, steal, and of course help the local people thrive to spite the Sheriff of Nottingham and his ruthless regime – all within an open-world environment that can be freely explored.
Robin Hood is a famous hero of medieval English folk tales, believed to have during that time roamed the forests of Sherwood with his band of loyal outlaw companions. In the game you’re going to meet those legendary characters as well, such as Lady Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck, Allan-a-Dale, and Will Scarlet.
Robin's main goal is to help a fledgling community of refugees and rebels advance and expand. Starting with what could be described as a small forest settlement, with a bit of care, hard work, and good luck, it can end up as a town full of people. Recruit local peasants, rebels on the run from the law, and even the citizens and guards of Nottingham themselves as your new outlaw settlers.
You start your adventure with building a forest camp, which can soon be expanded following the arrival of new residents. You will be responsible for properly managing the space you secured for yourself within Sherwood Forest to build up the village.
Another important part of taking care of the settlement will be to manage the community members’ professions and tasks, training them to become craftsmen, hunters, or guards, and to manage the settlement’s resources, either gathering them yourself or stealing them from convoys and noble estates.
As Robin's people grow large in number and strong in sword arm, an uprising in Nottingham may just become a reality, ending the Sheriff's tyranny once and for all.
Can Robin Hood and his Merry Men survive and put an end to injustice? Their fate is up to you!

Positive: +Robin Hood +Voice acting, even it might not be the best voice acting you heard, there's plenty of it! +Steam achievements +Large map Neutral: ~Crafting ~Building village (would have preferred investing villages around and just to have base camp) Negative: -Graphics are certainly outdated by todays standard and it looks like a game from ~2010 and it's quite unoptimized. -The most stupid looking archery stance I ever seen from a crouch position. -Stealth mechanics, whole screen getting dark when you are 'hidden'. -Small stack sizes in inventory/storage. -Can't climb ladders. -Avian vision, I simply don't know what they were thinking, but I find this too silly. -Tommy, what a useless piece of crap! Yeah, lets ambush a caravan, but this guy is crapping his pants and does absolutely NOTHING while I'm fighting on multiple enemies, WTF??? Most useless NPC in history of gaming-award goes for Tommy! -Puzzles, they don't fit the lore. Same as above avian vision, it feels like devs could not decide what kind of game they are making. As a bonus super annoying long arse musical puzzles. -Saving system tied to a bed and checkpoints, I don't see any benefit of this "restricted" save mechanic.

TLDR: this would've been a fantastic game 20 years ago. I wanted to love this game, it sounded so promising. My high expectations aside, it is an okay game. The central idea is there, but the execution is lacking. I'm going to keep playing to see it through as far as I can, but whew, it needs help. Still giving it a thumbs up in hopes it improves, and to do that, it needs players. And a lot of money. Pros: + huge map and interesting terrain + dynamic weather + open-quest system (not a prescribed order) + factions and reputation tied to story line + survival elements tied to functions (fast travel costs food/thirst or money) Cons: - writing is all over the place. There is some really philosophical and deep stuff one minute, but then VERY obvious typos and misused words/phrases and actors mispronouncing words and names the next - dialogue is flat; you have to press to continue each line, and have no choices in responses - except for the voice of Robin, the voice acting is really bad - combat is boring and repetitive - stealth functionally does not work well. Some enemies spot you miles away, others don't see you stepping on their toes - base building is very limited with pre-determined housing and you can't enter a lot of buildings. They're not actually for a base, they're to craft and upgrade skills, so feels pointless. If you're looking for a base/town builder, this is not the game for you - world does not feel alive. NPCs have no speech animation, you can't sheathe your weapons, so you charge around town waving a giant sword - graphics feel vintage in a bad way, even on the highest settings
Stop using IA to translate games or use IA and sent to a HUMAN translator to fix mistakes. The game cannot be completed because "SANDSTONE" was translated into Spanish as "ASPERON." While "sandstone" is normally *arenisca* in Spanish, *asperón*—depending on the context—can refer to a whetstone or pumice stone. Consequently, when the game asks for sandstone, it isn't actually available; instead, there is *asperón*, which is not the item the buildings require. This highlights why, whenever AI is used for translation, human oversight is essential to verify and correct the text with native speakers or individuals who have advanced knowledge of the language.
A game that lacks polish, but is still entertaining despite it. The gameplay and crafting feel fairly basic (and at times fairly jank), but they're effective enough - and get a little less rough once you start unlocking more skills/abilities. The graphics generally look good enough, the world is vast and varied enough, and the voice acting is decent enough. While this might all come across as a negative when compared to other games (like... "Why should I bother with something that's only 'good enough' when I could be playing things that are great?") what I mean to say is that everything gets a passing grade at being interesting and entertaining -- I don't regret the money I spent on this game, I don't regret the hours I've put into it - and I look forward to putting even more into is as I explore the other regions (though I am a fan of Robin Hood legends and open world games as a whole). Also, while the graphics are generally good enough, I do have to say that the dynamic lightning and weather effects are legit beautiful. When the sun rises through the forest, or moon beams shine through the clouds, the world looks so very vibrant, it's a delight, and really immerses me in the world - whatever score I'd give this game out of 10, I'd add two more points just for the lighting alone.
At first it feels good like this might be promising but soon you realize it is just really shallow and empty. You have no attachment to anything in the game world, not even your camp. There are long tedious dialogues that I just end up skipping through because they aren't interesting. I would avoid unless its like 90% off.
NO UPDATES IN AGES.... this is a flawed purchase. Wish I had never spent the money on this trash!
Got this on a discount, and i actually loved it! It has some great open world exploring, questing and puzzle solving and its pretty fun. With a few tweaks from the devs, this game could be REALLY good! Not a single crash or bug, it was quite a smoothe experience!
It's a good game, and I don't know why there are bad comments. The fighting mechanics was good, the story was good, also has a good big map and alot of quest, and I enjoyed the building part. I say the game has alot of potential to be better, maybe Co-op mode, and if this was a multiplayer game it would have been a really great game. I say this game is good game, but it could turn to an excellent game if few things are added.
