Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This is an awesome game that's highly addictive!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The anamations are great it's a lot of fun ulocking new devices
It is a nice concept that allows you to take over the world and build a lair as if you were the contractor and right hand man of the Genuis you chose.
Evil Genius 2
This game truly deserves its "Mixed" review score because it starts off quite strong and then falters badly. I'm 18 hours in and I think my time with Evil Genius 2 is coming to an end. I doubt I'll finish the campaign. What started off as light and fun has pivoted to a dull grind at this point. tl;dr version: The dismount was great but the game failed to stick the landing and falls right on it's ass.. Evil Genius 2 is a base building strategy game where you play as....surprise....an Evil Genius archetype. You run nefarious schemes, try to avoid detection by secret agents, build your base of minions and run your little humorous empire. It's Dr. Evil meets Dungeon Keeper meets Two Point Museum. The formula should work and, for a while, it does. It was cute at first, if coming across a bit like a low-rent Two Point Museum. That may sound a bit negative but I really liked Two Point Museum and it was my 2nd favorite game in 2025. So while it's not nearly as cute as TPM and the mechanics are poorly explained, it's pretty good. You build out your rooms like living quarters, cafeteria, research center, control room, guard posts and the like. You can research and build traps to snare enemy agents, keep the power running and even set up your casino which acts as a front for your diabolical evil lair. The art is cute and while the music gets redundant after a while (it feels like an Incredibles soundtrack copycat), it's okay and thematically fits the game. As I said, some mechanics are very poorly explained or not explained at all (for instance, there's no mention of things like water fountains or air conditioners improving minion morale) but there's a lot to build and play with - at least at first. But I'm now further into the game and it seems to be getting more and more tedious. 1. I can't get additional floors to unlock beyond the 1st and 2nd floors and I've used all the available building space. So I can't build anything else in what is primarily a building game. This is just a huge oversight by the devs in terms of pacing because without the building aspect, there's really not a lot to keep me entertained. I'd like to expand certain rooms (like my Control Room) but I simply don't have any space left. My vault has $1.5m in it and there's no space to expand it and nothing to spend it on. 2. My last big expansion was for my research area since research is unbelievably slow. Even with 5 different research items per type (like 5 whiteboards, which some research needs), the research is still unbelievably slow on just the middle tier. No building + no research = snoozefest of a game. 3. The world missions are repetitive and dull. I don't need the money with a full vault and even when I'm not running missions the alert level seems to climb unreasonably, so we're simply not doing missions anymore unless absolutely necessary. And the number of resources even the middle-campaign missions takes are insane. Some take 15-20 specialized minions, each of whom takes minutes to train on a specific training apparatus. If you get a couple missions in a row that take the same type of specialized personnel, you might end up spending an hour just waiting for them to be trained so you can launch the mission. Furthermore, the regional alert levels have gone basically haywire in my game, so even with me running no missions I'm seeing entire regions locked down so I can't progress. Both of these mechanics needed some serious rebalancing as they're really not enjoyable. In fact, the whole world mission UI is awful and it's an exercise of scanning for icons. 4. Enemy agents can appear in the middle of the base so proper defensive design becomes meaningless. If you can get a big enough control room you can stick cameras everywhere but that's about all you can do. Having an agent magically appear in the middle of your power room and set it on fire isn't a fun mechanic either. I get that it's fairly easy to defend the base from the front entrance but random agent spawning wasn't the right answer. After about 8-10 hours all I was focusing on was trying to get the next objective done. I'm not really playing the game or feel like I'm "creating" anything but just trying to check things off a task list. It was fun for a while but now it's just gotten mired in the grind. I can definitely see why some people love this game and it is really close to being a really awesome overall experience and a classic game. The routine is great, the game just doesn't stick the landing. There are a couple of other issues. This game isn't really moddable. I think it was designed that way to maximize DLC spam but it didn't sell well enough so there was only 1 season pass that apparently unbalances things even more. So while this would be a prime game for a fan-made mod that rebalanced the core game, that won't happen. I have a high-end PC and it made my PC run quite hot. I noticed there are numerous reports around this. A quick adjustment of the settings seemed to fix things but this is something to keep an eye on. To make a long story short, I'm a bit stuck. The first 6-8 hours or so deserves a big thumb's up. Anything after that is a waste of your time. /recommended but only when it's 90% off. $3 for 6-8 hours of decent gaming is fine. But do yourself a favor - get to perhaps the first 1/3rd of the campaign and just uninstall because it just gets worse from there.
怎么和我之前玩的不一样,教程也有区别,还是结局了,ui界面稀烂,入门的话还算可以。
Watered down, it's not bad... but i wish there was more
EG2 is a satirical World domination game that mostly gets it right. It can be a little rough round the edges and the occasional mission is downright infuriating. However, playing an entire campaign from start to finish has kept me suitably entertained.
Lots of fun, would recommend. Got the game+DLC on sale and well worth the price, EXCEPT the temperature addition part in the polar DLC is infuriating! You end up micromanaging with a million air conditioners, it adds so much headache in the end I found it wasn't worth playing with that DLC turned on (I did like the engineering part so it was a tough call). All in all though, a solid strategy game.
