This game may not have the best graphics, but the story and gameplay kept me hooked! It is a murder mystery hidden objects adventure. A detective named Karla Robbins was given a case to investigate. A wealthy man named Christopher Edward has been brutally murdered in his home. I liked how they showed everything about the suspects, age, handwriting, past crimes and fingerprints which you'll use to find out who really did it. The more you find, the more the detective fill those files. They are very useful and well made. There is a map but not an interactive one, you'll find yourself going back and forth to pick stuff and use them. The artwork and graphics are outdated even the characters design and animation, but I still enjoyed playing this game. The puzzles were very easy though. [b]Entwined: Strings of Deception[/b] (IHOG) Options include separate volume control for Music, Effects and Voices, plus Fullscreen, Widescreen Correction and Custom Cursor. This is a HO-heavy murder mystery with cringe-worthy 3D graphics, substandard voice acting and a confusing map. Despite all of that, the game is still engaging, so read on! [b]HIDDEN OBJECTS:[/b] As mentioned above, there are a LOT of hidden object scenes to complete before you find your killer. The HO scenes are pretty much junk piles, but the graphics are nicer to look at than the too-perfect 3D models used in the rest of the game, AND some of the items are cleverly-hidden. There is a misclick penalty if you click around too quickly. The [b]HINTS[/b] are refillable, but don't show you exactly where to look. Instead you'll get a pop-up picture of the general area on the scene, with the item highlighted... You'll still need to find it afterwards, so look at the pic well - The hint refill takes (I think) a full minute to recharge. Heads up to the arachnophobes that there is ONE spider in a HOS, but you'll visit that scene twice. [b]GAMEPLAY:[/b] There is a non-interactive MAP in the game, but it's pretty confusing because of the steep angle they chose to use to depict things. You'll spend a lot of time to-ing and fro-in, but I found it kind of refreshing to NOT have all of the answers right at my fingertips. The map isn't so big that it was a slog to revisit all of the scenes to look for active areas. HINTS used during the adventure portion of the game will not require refill - you can have as many hints as you want - but this is not the type of hint most HOG-lovers are used to. Instead of giving you a directional hint or pointing out something on the scene at hand, it will instead give you an indexed list of tasks that you can choose from. For instance, you can click on "Fix electricity of the kitchen area", and when you do, it will tell you exactly where to go to find whatever-items you need, and the steps that need to be taken to accomplish the task at hand. This is what makes the game worth playing. Who-dun-it? What's really going on here? Встречаются мини-игры в виде поиска предметов на экране или решения разных головоломок. Иногда задачки чисто на логику. Например, надо позвонить секретарше. Для этого придётся найти телефон и номер абонента. PLOT Year 1970 Mister Christopher Edward, is a rich inventor known by the company, unfortunately he is found dead in his large villa; because of the injuries it is deduced that it is not a natural death but certainly we are facing a violent murder. For this reason, the case is entrusted to detective Karla Robbins, who will have to carry out a thorough analysis and investigate this case of murder, but it will not be easy because the suspects are many: 1 the wife 2 the waitress 3 the butler 4 the secretary 5 the family doctor What will be the motive for the murder? The power, jealousy, money or the passion of a love? It's up to you to find out !!!! PLAYABILITY It looks like a classic "yellow", our task is to investigate, search and collect evidence, interrogate suspects. At your disposal you will have an interactive file divided into various sections, where you can find: the description of each suspect, the medical file describing the victim, and all the evidence you collect in your investigation. In the various locations you visit you can find collectibles: jewels and fingerprints to collect with the special dust. While the footprints can enrich your investigation, the jewels will only serve to add to your inventory. The map only tells you where you are, but you can't move quickly from one place to another. There is a "help" button that you can click if you are in trouble, but it will simply show you the objectives you need to do, I found it poor as a help I would have preferred it to show me where to go and what to interact with, to avoid getting stuck in the game The "find item" scenes are simple, and cannot be avoided by playing an alternate minigame. The music fits the context of the plot. As a conclusion I recommend it is a classic Hidden Objective of medium quality, on the whole you can play even if at times, I found it difficult because I found myself going back to the various locations of the villa to understand what I had to do, but if you like the Yellow genre is worth playing. Es gibt 5 Verdächtige und wir müssen Ermitteln wer es getan hat und vor allem aus welchem Grund [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Es spielt sich wie ein übliches Hidden Object Adventure. Wir haben wie immer mehrere Locations wo wir immer und jederzeit wieder hin zurückkehren können. Wir lösen die üblichen Wimmelbildszenen & Minirätsel. Beides ist hier sehr gut gemacht. Man kann Rätsel überspringen falls man mal nicht weiter weiß. Die Story ist spannend gestaltet. An outdated HOG that frustrates even the most experienced players. I'm not going to nag too much about the graphics. The game is many years old anyway. But the amount of pixel hunting in HO scenes is infuriating. Also, being a crime mystery game, there is not much to solve since the game autosolves pretty much everything for you once you find all the stuff. The story itself was a cliche crime mystery, nothing new there, and maybe not even the worst one out there. Theres so many rooms but only a couple of things to interact in each one. In some rooms the interaction points are completely pointless and do not contribute to the progress. The plot was interesting at first but then I forgot the whole murder and went pixel hunting for useless objects... and then there was the conclusion. Recommended only for a few coins price, and only for the most fearless HOG enthusiasts. Other than that, I cannot recommend this one.

A so-so hidden object game. Not much to the gameplay beyond the hidden object scenes. I think there were three or so other puzzles, none particularly challenging. The genre certainly has worse games, the three hours it took me weren't unenjoyable, but many or even most that I've played were better.

pros - good looking graphics - puzzles are mostly easy and enjoyable - Agatha Christie style murder story and characters intriguing and exciting - good background musics - OK voice overs - well made cut scenes and character animations - there is auto save cons - there are no steam achievements - game doesn't drop cards. - hint system not working the way ıt's supposed to be in hog scenes - you can't see some items in hog scenes because a few items camouflaged with black background. - sometimes you don't know what to do next.
