Multiplayer vampire survivor like. Two thumbs up.

I think this is a fine take on the survivors genre. In addition to the standard metaprogression upgrades you can also upgrade skills and weapons. The developers have split paying for these upgrades across multiple currencies which is initially confusing but once you know what currency is used for what upgrade it's fine. The game has multiple classes and you also have the ability to unlock alternate melee and ranged weapons. I found the performance to be pretty good, even with a lot on the screen. The visual art style isn't bad, but there is something about it that is straining to the eyes. When playing in co-op there is a long leash between players with regards to how far you can move away from each other and the camera will eventually force the players closer together which is annoying. I don't think the gameplay has a strong enough feel or the differences between classes & weapons is strong and distinct enough to where I'd want to spend time fully upgrading anything. The game has the systems to support spending more time with the game but the gameplay itself isn't strong enough to sustain that. In spite of that, the game certainly isn't bad, it's just average.

I'm having a lot of fun with it and it's cheap. Good survivors game.
