Its aight, guess there are better Survivor Likes. Could have done more with the Temtems, like actually being able to attack yourself. Some attacks suffer hardly from not doing enough mass damage. All in all, just a copy of Vampire Survivors, nothing special, but nothing bad.
Buy this game for fun co-op >net code made from strings, hope and dream >super laggy buggy co-op You guys can do better than this. Shame, this game look super cute and promising
Solid game without much identity. This is a feeling I get quite often with survivors games. I understand numbers going up, sense of satisfaction, metaprogression and power creeping are the main loop, what keeps the games going. If the package includes nice art and graphics, that's even better. And that is what the game offers, a robust survivors experience with an impeccable technical department that, at the same time, doesn't offer anything new. I like how well it runs on my Steam Deck, the fans on the machine only need to work in heavily overcrowded areas with several attacks (they're called "techniques" here) flying at the same time. However. Having a straightforward experience is only half of the story. I need passion, I need to feel overpowered, I want to be surprised by a sidequest or a cameo or an unexpected twist... but I found none of that here. Not even weapons' fusions (called "synergies") felt like much. Catching a new TemTem too felt underwhelming. Metaprogression was dull. All the arenas had a very samey feeling, like reskins of the same layout. Also, I fell too quickly into the loop of "I'm gonna play the next run focusing on getting this or that achievement". I don't mind (I actually enjoy) grinding a little bit to get all the achievements of a game, but I also believe that comes after having enjoyed the game "organically", and here, I found myself "working" to get those achievements too quickly. Nothing I have said means this is a bad game; it is a solid survivors entry and it can be a moderately fun game you can spend some hours with or even think about going for the whole achievements' list. But I also don't think it sits on the top5 of survivors games I've played, while also being relatively more expensive, compared to some others that definitely hit all the right notes for me. I didn't dislike it, I just didn't like it enough. I do reccomend TemTemSwarm because it is an acceptable survivors game with a solid technical bill, althought it is also true that developers played it very safe and a lack of personality, where nothing about it really stands out, makes me think I won't remember much of it in a couple of weeks.
It is super cute, that is it. and It is the worst Vampire game I had ever played
Bought the game for me & one other. Game was hopeful, Cute design, Similar to brotato (love that game) Runs game>>> Immediately has crap netcode cant play online because of connection issues. Game marketed as multiplayer... Cant even do that... Game had major promise, But nope. Plus this developer has basically abandoned it in favor of their open world game... DO NOT BUY THIS! If you want to play with anybody.
The game is fun, but has several problems: * Visibility is extremely poor when playing on Steam Deck / small screen. The VFX is too busy and threats are unclear. Mid/late game it's impossible to tell what is an enemy projectile, where to stand for an event, etc. because of the extremely noisy, overlapping VFX * The game seems poorly tuned/balanced - On my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th plays I ran out of upgrades within 12-15 minutes. Which leaves a quarter of the game running around the map, just running out the clock waiting for the final boss, with no opportunity to get stronger. Incredibly disappointing and boring. * I like the creature art, generally, but sometimes the creatures are hard to see on steam deck - or sometimes small creatures look like pickups/powerups. * Poorly optimized for steam deck - low frame rate and frame drops playing on default settings. I suggest auto-detecting hardware and scaling graphics automatically for players. * Evolution is underwhelming, and feels like a non-choice. It "feels" like yet another upgrade, rather than meaningfully changing the experience like I would expect. Needs to be rethought. The game is fun, I love the ultimates, skill trees are fine, the events are a good idea, boss fights are fun. Would love to see this continue developing and improving.
El juego es divertido, sobre todo al inicio. Es verdad que una vez que has desbloqueado todos los tems y te has pasado todos los escenarios, ya solo queda repetir si quieres subir al 100% los tems. Y te va a llevar muchísimas horas. Para mí demasiadas. Con casi 30 horas apenas he subido un tem al prestigio 1. Ese es el único fallo de este juego a mi parecer, que no te merece la pena intentar el 100%. Una pena.
pros - recognizable monsters if you played Temtem before cons - fairly basic, unimaginative upgrades - feels almost the same no matter which character you play as - very unclear about why in some runs I seem to have some abilities new show up
el mejor vampire survivor :D
