Surprisingly fun game, which leads to a second game called Divided Reigns (also very good). Ignore the spelling errors, which are super common, and you have an otherwise surprisingly deep and pretty well written game. Interesting characters, story and world, with tons of side quests, optional areas, hidden little things to find, all of which I think make for a good SNES style RPG. Given the limitations of the software used to make the game at the time it was made and that it was a small (one man?) operation, it really is a great game and well worth $4 at full price.
Great old school turned based game. Thanks so much to the company for making this! There aren't many like it anymore. I got emotionally attached to the characters and it had a good story. Highly recommend.
The game gave me a good sense of adventure and I find it rare these days. The characters are likeable, the story is somewhat generic but that isn't what matters. I liked the game because of it being so generic that I was surprised at the little things, how I suddenly started to care so much for the characters and their fate. If you like going on an adventure, leveling characters, building them, gearing them and have a story driven game with good characters this game is for you. And considering the price it should be worth a try for everyone.
Einlanzer So far, I am enjoying the game. The story is interesting enough to keep me going. The combat animation is basic, and enemies feel a little flat, but nevertheless it keeps me content. I will say that the more levels you get the more combat opens up for you. Exploring feels like it is rewarding, as far as loot and exp, which is nice because some games don't do this well. The chemistry of the party is fun. Banter, insults, silliness, and fun. The Mc is dense and a bit annoying atm lol (hoping for growth with him). For the price I have no real complaints. I say if you enjoy rpgmaker games to give this one a go. I have not been disappointed with it almost 5 hours in and it does leave me wanting to come back for more and to know what happens next.
Do you love enemies spamming status ailments left and right? Do you love having about every enemy spam poison that never ends? Do you like enemies with AOE paralyze skills? Do you like random enemies that can instant kill you? Then you may like this game. This game sadly is nothing like ff7/chrono trigger as it claims. It is more like ff1 with random mobs that spam every status ailment under the sun. I gave up at act 2 when about every enemy spammed poison, some had AOE confuse which could make my entire party take themselves out, and some enemies had instant KO abilities. I feel the final boss of this game should be a pair of dice. It is all RNG and just not fun. Making every enemy out to just destroy you with status ailments that can take out the entire party on any random fight is just not fun. Its only frustrating.
this very good there is also another game from this developer both are good i highly recommend them they worth the price a really decent jrpg remind me of golden era of rpgs in the 90s
Great game, great design, great story. A fantastic game that surpassed all my spectations. Please give it a chance and you will not regret it.
Einlanzer is a masterpiece of a game, pure and simple. It takes you back to the old NES and SNES days. Careful work was put into this game, and the result is a solid, and fun adventure that will please most old-school people. Newcomers will appreciate it as well... heck, such a polished story, good controls, difficulty, etc. ANYONE who is looking for a fun time will like to play Einlanzer, I recommend this game HIGHLY. A+
A nice JRPG with an epic journey and story. Recommended, especially if you enjoy this style of game. I think the main strengths of this game is it's story and setting. The story is quite epic and emotional. There are several important choices to make and particularly, the final choice will determine the ending and the fate of the main character himself and his dear companions. The combat is the classic turn-based style and the characters have their own nice skill sets to use in combat. For the middle difficulty, I don't need too much grinding but several bosses may need some specific equipment and strategy to beat. In the end, I think the combat is fun but lack of depth for such long game. Particularly, the series of boss fights at the end is tiresome. Other than that, some of dungeons have some minor puzzles and they are fun to solve. But unfortunately, there are not many in the game. Summary: A nice game with a nice story but the gameplay make me feel that the game would be better if it was shorter. (7/10)
Good Game, on 2nd town, just remember that there is a secret door behind the big house!
