Echoes of Elysium

Lots of potential here. But this is the most disappointing early access game I've ever tried. It would be more accurate at this point to call this a demo. This is going into suspended animation for quite some time. Perhaps I will revisit it again in a year or so.

EA review, as of V.0.18.5 This game is still very early, honestly. However, I think it has a lot of potential. The "nomad" or "mobile base" survival craft is something I'm still trying to find the right fit for. While EoE is still quite early, it has the best overall airship systems in on of these games so far. By that, I mean that the airships are fairly easy to put together, with smart snapping and highlighting that make it easy to do what you want. Other similar EA / demo games with buildable airships, either feel too locked down, or are way too complex in having to manually "balance" your ship. Likewise, the airship flight controls work better than other Survival Craft versions I've tried for large aerial vehicles. Easy and straightfoward, almost like building things in Zelda: Tear of the Kingdom. Slap a helm on your ship, and it just works. That being said, I'm probably going to let this one cook for longer - it's still quite early on, and most of the complaints from other reviews are valid, to greater or lesser degrees. However, in spite of those issues, I think the bones of this game are solid. The most important parts, the airship building and flight, are already better than any comparison I can make to another game with the same scope. Let them cook.

Le jeu a énormément de potentiel. Malgré beaucoup de bugs et un gameplay parfois redondant, ce jeu vaut la peine qu'on lui donne sa chance. Pour l'instant ce n'est qu'une early acces mais le jeu a reçu une grosse mise à jour récemment. L'exploration est cool, les combats sont vraiment sympa malgré quelques bugs, je pense que c'est un jeu niche qui mérite d'être joué surtout avec des amis

Das ist mit abstand der schlimmste Fehlkauf in meiner Geschichte von Steam. Es gibt kein vernünftiges Tutorial man steht da und weis eigentlich nicht was man machen soll. Du bist noch nicht einmal 5 min im Spiel und wirst schon von irgendwelchen Flugtieren angegriffen man hat nichts. Ich habe gerade wirklich eine Million Fragezeichen im Kopf. Was soll das sein??????? Ich fühle mich so was von verarscht. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich das was auch immer das ist wieder zurückgeben. Eine Schande für jeden Entwickler.
