Earth Overclocked is a frantic rogue-lite adventure starring a scientist who is terrible at making time machines, but great at blasting bad guys. Use a diverse selection of weapons to fight off monsters while searching for pieces of your time machine in randomly generated environments.

Surprisingly, it is a great bullet-hell action roguelike
Earth Overclocked is like a Dan Abnett story; rich in creativity and offering so much more than it needs to to be enjoyable. It's a fun twin-stick adventure with a fair amount of interesting ideas and mechanics that I best leave for you to discover. Fun game and well worth the meager asking price.

its pretty fun
I bought this game a long time ago after playing a bit of Realm of the Mad God and noticing that it seemed like this was a similar experience (without the issues that Realm of the Mad God had). Each run tasks you with running around the world collecting pieces of a time machine, which you do by exploring two dungeons and defeating four bosses, and then defeating the final boss, all before the time runs out. It's decently fun, although it is pretty simplistic, and it's not all that hard for the most part. It's pretty luck based as well, as some of the weapons are really strong, while others are terrible, and how strong a particular weapon is or how long it will last varies quite a bit. It also gets repetitive fairly quickly, and I found the harder difficulties got a bit annoying as it turned enemies into bullet sponges that were hard to kill, but for only a few dollars on sale, I'd say it's still worth picking up and playing.
