Great game. Engine is amazing. Mascot Mashup is ethereal. Haven't had any problems with lag. Changing settings helps a lot, especially when it comes to defense. Overall a really great game, if not the most fun football game I've played to date. It had a issue with micro transactions on initial release but EA removed most of the single players ones in a unprecedented move by the company. I can more than recommend!!
They took out the microtransactions only after backlash and lied and walked back on other changes they were suppose to make.DO NOT BUY THIS GAMEE!!!
They removed the microtransaction option but didn't add the sliders we want back into the game. Really EA? I'm done I wish I hadn't played so much so I could refund
TRASH! Madden gonna be crap too. Man EA SPORTS is terrible. PLEASE let someone else make football games. This is so bad it is trash. DO NOT BUY THIS! Game play is the same as it was when it first came out. Its just copy and paste. 2K would do so much better and I dont even care about the micro transactions anymore as that is a part of all trash games.
good game biblical greed
good college football wish everybody stop complain about every darn thing
The actual game is playable. However for a company this big there were so many bugs on day one its flat out ridiculous. Also how can you put micro transactions in an offline game mode then make the game mode progression slower so people feel more incentivized to pay. Greedy pigs
They really messed up with the single player microtransactions. If they don't make something to edit dynasty players within my refund window I'm refunding this game. Convenient that they didn't mention any of this upfront in anyway.
Horrible gameplay, ai players do not work correctly, stadium impact is way over played, kicking sucks, recruitment sucks, game difficulty changes so much making game un playable 60% the time, very unsatisfied and let down how bad the gameplay is buyer beware for 74$
The amount of bugs in this game are mind-blowing, for as long as it has been released. In your Junior Year, they still call you a freshman in RTG. Randomly, for whatever reason, after a game in your junior year, the game gets stuck transitioning from post-game screens back to the next week. So you have to close out the game to continue. If you are a running back, the announcer says the same thing over and over and over "and he just keeps CHURNING out the yard. Great game." The blocking is absolutely terrible - you can have a clear shot to the QB on defense, and an OL, who is engaged with a DT or DL, can immediately disengage, slide over about 15 feet and grab you from behind and make you enter into the blocking animation with him. They basically suck you into their blocking scheme. When you instant replay it, it looks like they did it correctly, in real time, it is not right. The AI on the RBs, period. They will intentionally find an opposing player to run into. RB screens, they will not turn and find the gigantic hole on the right side of the field, instead they will immediately go toward the center of the field and run right into the opposing players. This happens on run plays too, but especially bad on screen passes. Disengaging blocks, even with a high 90s ability, is increasingly impossible against players well below your skill. They can latch on to you and just never let go. Blind side blocks and hits happen all the time on defense where you are pursuing the ball carrier and a WR or even an OL, will come across the screen and flatten you. DPI rarely gets called and they tackle the WR long before the ball gets there, especially on deep passes. Dropping passes. It happens all the time that the WR will catch the ball, start to come down with it, then a defender will barely touch him and he throws the ball away. I have had receivers catch the ball, land, then get tackled, fumble the ball on the way to the ground, and call it an incomplete pass. The AI/Game/Design - whatever - will randomly have a terrible team become damn near a god-mode team while yours cannot remember how to catch a pass or run the ball. I dont know if it is designed to create drama or what, but I was playing as Ohio State against Eastern Michigan, I think, and I was 10-0, best offense and defense in the nation, and Eastern Michigan was winning 21-0 at half-time, I was 0-12 and my RB had 15 yards rushing, give or take. When it gets out of whack like that, I have to leave the game and come back to it and it resets. This game needs a lot, and I mean a lot, of help right now. It is not worth the money at full price.
