Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
It’s been 20 years since the events of the original game. The virus won, and humanity is slowly dying. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news, and connects the few remaining survivor settlements in barren lands devastated by the zombie virus. However, your true goal is to find your little sister Mia, who you left behind as a kid to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Haunted by the past, you eventually make the decision to confront it when you learn that Mia may still be alive in Villedor — the last city standing on Earth.
You quickly find yourself in a settlement torn by conflict. You’ll need to engage in creative and gory combat, so hone your skills to defeat hordes of zombies and make allies. Roam the city, free run across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot in remote areas, and be wary of the night. With every sunset, monsters take control of the streets.
Fifteen years ago, humanity was devastated by the Fall — a catastrophic event that would change the world forever. With the Harran virus spreading around the globe, people quickly found out that all hope for tomorrow is lost. By 2036, only a few settlements remain, and humanity is slowly dying, making way for the new species out there — a horde of relentless zombies.
Welcome to Villedor, one of the last bastions of humanity. During the day, survivors still try to have a life here and find a false sense of normalcy. Relationships are formed, dreams are dreamed, and life carries on. On the surface, everything seems… fine. Until sunset, that is. With the last ray of light dying out, other, more dreadful, dwellers of The City crawl out of their gloomy interiors, taking over the streets. If you are not vigilant and stay out too long in the dark, you may never return.
Not all fights can be won. Sometimes it’s best to run and, thankfully, you have the skills for it. Parkour lets you escape when odds are not in your favor. Jump from rooftop to rooftop, swing across the cityscape, ride ziplines, and much more. Whatever you do, experience a unique sense of freedom as you freerun across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot or while running away from the dangers of the night.
In a world as dangerous as this one, only the strongest survive. Whether you prefer to smash, slice or dismember those who stand in your way, you have to be creative about it to make it through. And who says you need weapons? Utilize the entirety of your parkour moveset to get the jump on your enemies. Learn the ways of combat and parkour to feel the crunch of skulls and slices of flesh as you swing weapons or use your moves to fend off any forms of danger. And let’s not forget that Villedor has weapons that put the most advanced post-apocalyptic armories to shame.
Surviving in Villedor is easier with friends. Team up with up to 3 other players and increase your chances out there. Unravel the story together, take on Pilgrim Outpost challenges, or simply wreak havoc on the city streets.

Yawn. I'm really bored of all the mechanics in this game. Witcher sense / detective mode, tower climbing to activate a safe zone, binoculars with POI marking, bandit camps, endless piles of trash loot for the crafting menu, colored tiers of randomized loot with incremental value increased, weapon durability, blueprints for the most basic stuff imaginable, unexciting skill tree, crouch stealth and one button take downs, tons of forgettable NPCs, mid tier voice acting, terribly bland YA writing, wonky animations, inattention to details, having to use a MOD just to remove all the butt ugly screen effects, all the weird imperfections that come with a giant empty open world game, the constantly repeating assets. The lockpicking minigame from Fallout 3! Good lord can this team come up with even one single unique idea? It's fitting this game is filled with zombies, because everything here should be dead and buried. It's really way beyond time for anyone working in a creative capacity in this industry to start coming up with some new ideas. Jump off a tower, land on a mattress with no injury. Kick a guy off the roof of a small, one story building and his legs will explode off his body and make a cartoon SPLAT noise. This game is dumb.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best PL #42, worst DE #100 · 7 markets collected
Of the 2 markets with a position on both sides, 2 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Disappointing to come back to a game and see that it's changed for the worst.
May death come upon you DL2 you shall forever be known as the great game that went straight into the dumpster after 3 YEARS! of amazing content until you decide to cram as much BS into a doorway(the game) as possible until the frame broke. May you rest in peace and may you rot in hell for breaking my save file, my will to live, and any chance of fully progressing through ONE MISSION! without needing to reload for it to work properly.

I wouldn't even waste my time on this rating. A newborn baby's vomit is more better than this piece of trash. Absolute waste of time. This has really brought great humiliation to the first Dying Light, which is a good game.
I was going to redownload this game since playing it 2 years ago but then I read the reviews and saw that they changed a lot of things in it that were part of the vibe of the game. That's pretty lame and makes me not want to play it again until it gets reverted back. EXTREMELY lame that the company doubled down and wrote that they won't change anything back. At least make it optional. I understand wanting to streamline the experience for newer players, but that doesn't mean it's okay to subject everyone to the removal of the experience itself. What a nightmare for a company to do and I feel like this game is ruined to the point of being unplayable now.
制作组你妈死了,操你妈的傻逼支线任务又臭又长,找个路找半天没找到,绕你妈呢?你妈逼的,我把你们妈给操了,一群死妈玩意
I am so damn pissed i ve given up on this game. ive given it way too many chances and this bug was the final damn straw. the parkour is way better then the first really responsive but that's only for the begging for some reason the game glitch's the more you level up. i tried to ignore it as much i can. the enemies and objectives are a buggy mess the amount of times i had to restart the game and do it all over again some were bosses. marked enemies keep going through the wall their hit boxes stop existing making them immortal. the mission where i fight hakan i saved him already but somehow my save corrupt and changed my story options so the ending i wanted was stuck and i have to restart. the reason why I'm pissed off even more is that i decided to restore my save waste 12 hours of my progress all because i want this ending. i did it for nothing so i have a glitched story and lost progress and even got corrupted file to the point i might be forced to start fresh again. the side missions all the same just kill and gather. game has this half ass rpg system where even telltale games has better options. for a glitchy game it needs a save list the amount t of my time i would of saved if we have save slots would be life changing but no we or i get this broken mess now i don't want to play anymore.
dying light 2 more like dying light poo, good night and good luck because you will be asleep from cutscenes sweet dreams
