We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
A simple yet satisfying game that you can easily complete on a weekend (I took about 15 hours to complete 95%). You unlock new skills throughout the game, so don't worry to access all the places and get all the items at the first glance. However, sometimes this gets a little boring, because you have to come back to certain locations if you are interested in opening chests to get some items' blueprints, and the game lacks a convenient teleport system. You are allowed to fast travel to other maps, but only access them by certain locations (generally the maps have only 1 or 2 entrances)
Game so good I can base my entire existence around it

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is well received, and i can see why. But it was not my cup of tea. The metroidvania elements are good and it has some humour in it. The fighting is dull, to say the least, and some enemies like the necromancer are simply annoying. The bossfights are mediocre, and you are limited in how you assign your level-ups (Damage Health, Defense, and Fidget can't be more than 4 levels apart). The item system is underwhelming, as you hardly need the shopkeeper, and get sufficient equipment naturally.
stampylongnose was never a cat and i've been upset about this for over a decade and nobody ever believes me and i want to kms over it so fkng bad
Fantastic game. Holds up incredibly well even so many years later
The game may be old, and it definitely shows in the character art. It has that absolutely dated furry art look, but overall, it’s still very good. I’ve seen some people say that the only reason this game is so well regarded is because there simply wasn’t anything better in the metroidvania genre when it first came out. But honestly, I enjoyed my time with it more than with (oh heresy) Hollow Knight or Silksong. Maybe not aesthetically, but gameplay wise? Absolutely.
this is one of my favourite games of all time. it has a beautiful soundtrack, hand-drawn visuals, and full and well-directed voice acting. the story isnt really groundbreaking but i think its well executed and i love seeing peoples reactions to it. every time i watch a new playthrough i fall in love with it all over again. if you can stand anime-leaning artstyles and metroidvania gameplay, please give this game a shot. the love that went into its creation is so clear.
Best metroidvania ive played so far
Great metroidvania if you're not used to them. bump up the difficulty a notch or two.
