Dungeons 3

Dungeons 3 is my first foray into the Dungeons series and I've greatly enjoyed my time! The gameplay loop is simple but as the maps and objectives for each mission keep the game feeling varied. There's something very satisfying about optimizing your perfect little ant colony of a dungeon that just tingles my brain. The story, despite taking the perspective of an evil character, is light-hearted and fun which I think is to its benefit. The humor is definitely dated, not in an offensive way of course, but they hit a lot of the overused jokes/memes that you've probably seen online within the last 15 years and that now live on Facebook. Some people may not like that, but I think it's fine and somewhat endearing. I do think the voice acting and sound design is good. It's a little campy, but I feel like with this storytelling and art direction you've gotta enjoy a little bit of camp. I do really enjoy the narrator's VA work, I think it's fun that he's kinda maintained that 'tries too hard and yet still fails' vibe that he did as the narrator of The Stanley Parable. I would recommend you play it if you're someone who enjoys base-building and tower defense games. When it does go on sale, it's around 80% off which I think makes it go from a niche pickup for only if this style of game was your jam to a general recommendation!

Habs im Sale geholt und mit dem Höllisch-Modus ist das Spiel auch etwas anspruchsvoller. Kann ich sehr empfehlen

Aus meiner Sicht: Ist Dungeons 3 eine gelungene Mischung aus Humor, Strategie und klassischem Dungeon-Management. Schon die ersten Minuten begeistern mit einer witzigen und selbstironischen Erzählweise, die das Spiel von vielen anderen Titeln abhebt. Der Spieler übernimmt die Rolle des "ultimativen Bösen" und baut sein eigenes unterirdisches Reich aus. Dabei geht es nicht nur um den geschickten Ausbau der Gänge und Räume, sondern auch um die clevere Verwaltung der verschiedenen Monster und Ressourcen. Besonders interessant ist die Balance zwischen dem Dungeon-Management im Untergrund und den Echtzeitschlachten an der Oberfläche, die für Abwechslung und Spannung sorgen. Dazu bringen die humorvollen Kommentare des Erzählers, einen regelmäßig zum Schmunzeln und verleihen dem Spiel seinen einzigartigen Charakter. Alles in allem ist Dungeons 3 ein unterhaltsames, strategisch forderndes und humorvolles Spiel, das es versteht, Spieler langfristig zu motivieren. Wer Spaß an Strategie, Aufbau und einer ordentlichen Portion schwarzem Humor hat, wird hier garantiert fündig. :)

Jedes Mal wenn ich das Spiel starte kommt die Meldung ich soll es bewerten. Selbst wegklicken hilft nicht. Nach Neustart wieder da, wie nervig... Ich hoffe durch diese Bewertung geht es dauerhaft weg.

I like every DungeonKeeper clone to be honest, I'm an easy victim. I simply enjoy digging and designing like a little Snot. Biggest problem of the game is a lack of challenge and variation. Every level always comes down to the same design with one guarded or trapped entrance, have the same army setup, level your creatures, steamroll the good guys. That being said, I still enjoyed a casual experience after switching off the very unfunny narrator
