Another abandon EA game. It seems to be the norm these days.
As a fan of dungeon-crawlers, I'm always on the lookout for some more crawler games This is an underrepresented genre on Steam, which is actually rather surprising good If you like rpg dungeon crawler games like legend of grimrock 1 & 2 and many other Being an old-school RPG, the game revolves around exploring and fighting through the dungeons A modern interpretation of the classic old-school dungeon crawlers. A good mix of exploration, RPG and combat mechanics

Waiting now for years and nothing happens... do not burn yourself on this early access title. Buy yourself something to eat.
This game is great. Sure it has some bugs (save often!). I can look past all that because the puzzles were very well done. I only had to cheat on 1 them! Some of them are REALLY challenging. Tips: * Make sure you save before you start chunking items that might be integral to a quest. They can be lost forever! * Also, don't get too worried about food and water. There is plenty, but it may not seem like it at first. * There are armor sets that you can try to find. I didn't know that going in, but if a piece has a special name, it probably has other pieces that go with it. * Range weaponry seems kind of garbage at first, but once a character has a fair number of ninja ranks, it becomes pretty powerful for quick, low cost damage. * Make sure you learn the light spell early on. There are torches, candles, and lanterns as back up. * If you find yourself unable to climb ladders anymore, save, shut the game down completely, and the start it up again. You should be able climb them after that. * Spiders are very deadly (much later in the game!)
Combat is boring Exploring is alright Game isn't linear enough for my taste, which might sound weird, but the reality is I don't want to scurry everywhere trying to figure out if I missed something. The usual "floor by floor" design of those type of game appeals more. Would not recommend
I really like dungeon crawler RPG type games and I play lots of them. This is not a really bad dungeon crawler RPG type game, however, it is also certainly not a good dungeon crawler type game !! It has quite a few, mostly minor software bugs, and strange game "features" (bugs ?). The graphics are very good and the sound is adequate. The UI is generally OK. The game play seems unbalanced at times when fighting monsters. The combat itself is adequate but not much fun. Character progression is adequate. The puzzles range from very good to, sometimes, stupid and lacking any reasonable logic. A real "mixed bag" of a game, sometimes good, sometimes bad. It seems, at times, that the game is just unfinished. I think the developers got about 85% through the development cycle of the game and then lost interest in it and released it !! I would have still just given it a Steam "Recommended" category - but with the above reservations. However, about three quarters of the way through the game all my saved game files become corrupted. This seems to be due to the game program itself and not my computer. This is my main reason for giving this game the "Not Recommended".
It doesnt make any sense... you hire mercanaries... they dont have weapons or spells. you go to the church, its full of monsters and traps... why???
Abandonware. DO NOT BUY I always try to wait for a developer to finish their game before I review it. Sadly this is about as finished as the game is ever going to get.
