This is a hard recommendation for me The game is good. I think the final boss is a bit of an obstacle, but the game is good In a landscape of roguelike 'puzzle' fighters, this has plenty going on underneath the hood to keep anyone who likes the roguelike genre entertained for hundreds of hours easily if you can get past the purposefully unwieldy premise that everything is determined by what you can get out of a claw machine And as someone who was a little reserved about how well this would control, I can comfortably tell you that everything is well designed around this aspect so that while failure is possible, it's a failure of not weighing your decisions well enough So why is this a hard recommendation? I know synergy is something that heavily dominates the roguelike landscape and you can't quite ever escape from it. It is most of the core of this game. It works, but it does require several moving parts of RNG. Like you can change the physics of objects to make them interact with certain things, be moved around with, or even easier for the dozen or so styles of claws you can use. Because there's several moving parts, it can feel difficult to really get a run going without the right amount of luck in the first three floors as opposed to the way other contemporaries have a design space where players can more freely circumvent even the worst RNG And because of that, I would advise this be a recommendation for the type of player who enjoys a little experimentation, because with the synergies in mind that is a lot to explore. Like in your first few runs you're likely to run into the concept of filling the claw machine with water, and there's a series of items that interact with this phenomenon as you are also then able to further modify the liquid from water into lava, hot chocolate, ice colds water, etc. There are items that only check to see if things are wet, and then there's items that change what they do depending on the liquid. And that's just one of the ways you can experiment with builds The devs say they have more ideas. I would recommend that if this game does interest you, get it now before that as there is a lot of content to playthrough if you intend on completing everything
While it is a fun game, in my opinion it is not worth is for the price when you an get the exact same game for cheaper on mobile.
Fun game! I love the poison build.
Great game, fun for casual and challenge runs. Physics can get a little janky, but still enjoyable.
So addictive, great game!
It's a fun game for the price
Simple, addictive, reasonably priced with a good replay loop. Games like this is why gamers aren't sweating that all the big bloated studios struggling.
