About

Drop Dead: The Cabin is a multiplayer (1-4 player) survival horror FPS that throws you and a friend into a pulse-pounding, 1980s-inspired nightmare. Developed by Soul Assembly, this PC & VR-compatible shooter blends co-op action, roguelike replayability, and a retro horror aesthetic into a brutal fight for survival.
Lost in the woods, you stumble across a seemingly abandoned cabin. But this is no ordinary hideout. It was once home to the twisted scientist Dr. Monday, whose experiments have unleashed a deadly horde of undead abominations. Now, the forest is crawling with monstrosities, and the only thing standing between you and certain death is your skill, your weapons, and your ability to work as a team.
Fight to keep the power running, the lights on, and the comms active. Let the systems fail, and the undead become faster, deadlier, and harder to see. Every decision matters. In solo or online co-op, teamwork is key. Stay together or split up to complete critical survival objectives. Use the environment to your advantage and fight with precision to survive the night.

Playable in both PC and on VR headsets, Drop Dead: The Cabin brings intense action to every player. Inspired by classic horror films and series like Stranger Things, it blends fast-paced wave shooting with immersive storytelling and endlessly replayable combat.
Do you have what it takes to escape the cabin... or will you join Monday's monstrosities?

At the time of playing, my friend and I ran into some technical bugs at random. However, I believe that when the glitches are patched, the game will be a lot of fun. We specifically ran into a glitch where we would not be able to switch, drop, or add new weapons into our inventory. We replicated the glitch with controller, keyboard, and took turns hosting games. When the game worked as intended, the aiming mechanics were smooth, and the visuals were pretty cool. There's a lot effort placed into this game, my friend and I had fun with the limited time we were able to play, and will be trying it again in the future. I will update this review then. I'm recommending this game based on it's potential. It needs a little time to be debugged, but I'd like to replay it when the issues are sorted out.
for someone that enjoys zombie games.. this one is seriously underrated.. its fun with friends or by yourself.. and the gameplay loop is easy to pick up.. the gameplay isn't difficult unless you chose to make it unfair.. and that makes me even more invested to beat everything. if your wanting to give it a try.. i vouch for it :) if you are playing with a buddy.. even better!
а игра будет работать? онлайн не работает просто не пк-вр не пк-пк
The fastest times are broken I have the fastest time and it says someone else does.
AWESOME GAME. TONS OF CLASSIC ARCADE STYLE FUN. HINT FOR MULTIPLAYER. IF YOU WANNA PLAY MULTIPLAYER, IT MAY NOT ALLOW ANYTHING OTHER THAN SOLO LOBBIES UNTIL YOU PLAY ONE ROUND AND DIE, OR COMPLETE IT, BY YOURSELF. THATS CONSIDERED THE TUTORIAL. AFTER THAT LOBBIES AND MATCHMAKING SHOULD BE OPEN, BEFORE THAT, IT WILL SAY VERSION MISMATCH AND NOT CANT SEE A WAY TO USE LOBBY CODES IN VR. BUT THERE IS AN EASY WORK AROUND. FOR PEOPLE PLAYING TO FIND FRIENDS SIMPLY HAVE THEM CREATE A LOBBY, BY GOING INTO NORMAL MATCHMAKING. THEIR FRIENDS WILL SEE THEM IN THE MATCHMAKING LIST TO JOIN OFF OF. Could use a bit of a tutorial to make it easier for new players, and even some of us returning players. I forgot about the outside power panel. LOLs. Also, I thought I beat all of the original game on the quest, but there was a radio tower area, that said we needed to destroy some things. But it seemed that nothing was able to be destroyed or interacted with in any way that allowed us to successfully complete that mission. Might have just been me being dumb. No map showing them, like the main cabin, and no hints. We are not sure, but think that mission was glitched. We were unable to complete it no matter what we tried, and were not rewarded with the shotgun because of it., Things that were good and bad. Random. Performance is pretty great. I had, and I’ve played on a lower end system and still had a blast. The good. Even though the guy I was playing with was in Australia, and I’m in the US east coast, with high ping between us, most of the time it didn’t seem to affect my shots landing when he was hosting. Or movement, or enemy movement. The bad about hit boxes. Sometimes a shot would go right through an enemies head with no damage and no stagger. Seemed not to hit, watched shots from weapons that do not have penetration go through. For the most part, most shots do connect though. And it was rare they missed. Machine guns and assault rifles could have a but more stability, better handling. And it would be nice to fire the assault rifle and let loose only one or two shots at a time like a real assault rifle. Specially when firing the shortest bursts possible. To make the weapons feel a tiny bit more real. More fun. Waste less ammo. But I get it if they don’t change this. It’s meant to be Arcady and it’s also hella fun to just let loose on a hoard of enemies when surrounded. Could be good to have a gun angle adjust for the rifles, and shotgun, but not a crazy high priority but would be nice, PLAYED IN VR. NEVER TRIED THE FLAT SCREEN. I really wanna see this game succeed. It is a great game. A lot of fun, and even more so with others. It’s not completely mindless, but is somewhat simple fun. Challenges make it more interesting. Things like dropping ammo for friends, using weapons like shotguns to take out groups, reward thinking. GREAT GAME. BUY IT. GET YOUR FRIENDS TO GET IT. First, I did not play this in VR. I find it interesting and ok at most. Not a lot to do tho, only one map what I can find and I do not see any replay value since it was extremely easy, very little weapon diversity. The weapons feel wacky and your arms sling around like those sticky hands you could buy at the mall for 0.99, maybe that is because it is made for VR as well. I can not find a way to change the sensitivity wich is weird. Finnished the map on my first try in less than an hour. A price tag of almost 20 dollars is crazy. I bought this game on sale for 75% off, and for that money it is worth it. I only recomend buying this if it is on sale. Hopefully they release more things and make it more diffcult!
Видя как глючит таблица игроков и не находит игроков в сети, возможно на рф онлайн не работает, из-за нашего любимого рэкэнэ. Проверить напрямую пока не было возможности.
As a long time fan of CoD Zombies, I think this has so much potential. I only played a couple of games, the first of which was reasonably fun, despite having no clue what I was supposed to be doing. I eventually started to find my bearings and was enjoying myself until I got stuck holding milk...after 10-15 minutes of playing I was suddenly unable to change my weapon or fight back in any way. After trying to run around mashing buttons, trying to interact with different things to 'unstick' my item, I had no choice but to let myself get killed. Frustrating but whatever, some teething problems, maybe I just got unlucky stumbling into a bug on my first time playing. Started up a new game...and within 60 seconds, I think my knife ran out of durablility...and I was stuck wielding an unusable handle, no longer able to attack or change my weapon... Once, I can ignore. Twice in just a few minutes? I'm sorry but I can't get invested into a game where at any given point it may just bug out and my efforts are wasted. Other than the game breaking bug though, it shows promise. the gameplay loop is fun, and the mechanics were engaging. I was having fun exploring the map, discovering new weapons or environmental traps etc. It looks fairly good too, the environments feel fleshed out (aside from being a little bit TOO dark...), the enemy designs are unique and have enough variation to keep things interesting. I also really liked the concept of the meta progression, I love the idea of improving my characters abilities as I play. I didn't have any technical problems loading into the game or while playing, everything ran fairly smoothly for me, and I found the general game mechanics i.e. hitboxes, movement, etc to be fairly polished. Honestly, I'm a little bit disappointed. I want to love it, and for everything else that the game offers this SHOULD be a positive review. and maybe it will be in the future, I will happily change it once it's fixed...but at present I simply CANNOT recommend a game with such a huge issue.
Joguei solo...
