About

Drop Dead: The Cabin is a multiplayer (1-4 player) survival horror FPS that throws you and a friend into a pulse-pounding, 1980s-inspired nightmare. Developed by Soul Assembly, this PC & VR-compatible shooter blends co-op action, roguelike replayability, and a retro horror aesthetic into a brutal fight for survival.
Lost in the woods, you stumble across a seemingly abandoned cabin. But this is no ordinary hideout. It was once home to the twisted scientist Dr. Monday, whose experiments have unleashed a deadly horde of undead abominations. Now, the forest is crawling with monstrosities, and the only thing standing between you and certain death is your skill, your weapons, and your ability to work as a team.
Fight to keep the power running, the lights on, and the comms active. Let the systems fail, and the undead become faster, deadlier, and harder to see. Every decision matters. In solo or online co-op, teamwork is key. Stay together or split up to complete critical survival objectives. Use the environment to your advantage and fight with precision to survive the night.

Playable in both PC and on VR headsets, Drop Dead: The Cabin brings intense action to every player. Inspired by classic horror films and series like Stranger Things, it blends fast-paced wave shooting with immersive storytelling and endlessly replayable combat.
Do you have what it takes to escape the cabin... or will you join Monday's monstrosities?

Fui forçado a abandonar a run.
This game is pretty solid, but I do have a few gripes. The gun bobbing especially when transitioning from running to standing made landing headshots harder than it needed to be. I’m the type of Zombies player (think COD Zombies) who likes to sprint, jump around, and stay mobile, so the extra movement felt a bit disruptive. I also felt a little lost at the start since there wasn’t much of a tutorial or explanation of the level up skills system. I eventually figured things out on my own, but a bit more guidance early on would have helped smooth out the experience. All that said, the game has a lot of potential. Even with the small issues I ran into, I genuinely had fun during the time I played, and I can’t wait to see what kind of updates they release for the game in the future.
I think this game has a lot of potential, but it can be difficult to play on PC. I did not play on VR. There were moments where I could not pick items up. There is no tutorial just a list of instructions. I think a tutorial would be helpful to know where to put the power sources. Multiplayer on PC felt like there weren't enough weapons. Overall the game had cool monsters, music, and a fun idea of waves of monsters attacking your base. I just think it needs some more love to get there. It would be great to know when this game would be more than coop and include more than 2 players.
I had a great time playing this game after I got the hang of how to open doors, and found out where everything was. I found the gunplay very satisfying, with an impressive variety of melee and ranged weapons. Additionally, having to switch between only a few different inventory slots increased the tension. I also enjoyed the variety of different enemy types. However, I found the AI that made the enemies try to slide around behind me annoying, and felt like they should only do that if there was already someone attacking from the front. There are also a couple of bugs that need to be sorted out, and I think the VR aspects of the game should be stripped out for non-VR players. Overall, I see a lot of potential in this game, though, and can't wait to see it once it gets polished a bit more, and try it in cooperative mode.
Arcady shooter for VR-starters
Much better work than Vertigo Games did with Arizona Sunshine (and most of their games, let's be honest). Even though there are two-handed weapons you can only hold them with one hand. Reload animations are simple even if you set them on manual. The game itself is very good for VR-testing areas and if you're new to VR. This is mostly CoD World at War zombie game mode, where you unlock new areas and boxes with random items. If you played more challenging games before-hand I suggest to skip it. For VR-veterans it is certainly a refund . For VR-newcomers is a must-have title. Hope to see some other challenging games in the future from Soul-Assembly Ltd. Guys did a really good job. But I didn't die in the hour I played it.
