So we have dreii, This game is what id call super casual but tons of fun, best played with friends or just randoms if you like, its basically a selection of levels that each have a physical puzzle to solve, either solo or with help. It won't keep you gaming for days on end but it does make puzzle solving that little bit better and gives a great incentive to work as a team, at times it cracks me up I have to say, especially on some of the more difficult stages. The only downside to this id say is it's very short and once you know the puzzles it just becomes too easy, but for what it is its a lot of fun in a small package. [h1]Introduction[/h1] I saw this game a while back on YouTube and was greatly interested to try it out. [*]There are 5 zones, each with 8-10 levels. You can take shortcuts and skip certain levels by following diverging paths. There are 6 different level types, indicated by white circles with varying icons. Beginner levels, gate levels, multiplayer levels, water levels, space levels, and regular levels indicated by a plain white circle. [*]The goal of each level is to build a structure or assisting framework to reach an indicated point (and stay balanced for 2-3 seconds). As well as level types, there are also different block types. There are blocks that explode, blocks that cannot be picked up, and blocks that are breakable. In order to reach your target, you have to use your avatar to pick up shapes and arrange them in a certain manner. Most of the puzzles are easy and straightforward, but others are much more difficult and some are influenced by various environmental factors. [*]My favorite part of this game is the multiplayer levels. Indicated by an asterisk (*), multiplayer levels have complicated puzzles that require help from other players to solve. The only way to communicate is by using one word chat messages which you can unlock as you progress. These messages can be translated into 19 different languages, eliminating communication barriers. By working together you can move heavy objects and make complicated structures that would not be possible if you were working by yourself. [*]One of the only cons that I can think of is the price tag and content. $12 for a couple hours of gameplay is a lot to ask. Sadly, I can only recommend this game on sale at its current state. If more content is added, the price could be more justified. [*]There is also a mobile version which is $4 on the apple and android store. According to their website, a PS4, PS vita, and possibly Wii U version will also be released shortly. I was really impressed by how easy it is to pick up and play, and to find people to play with. To drop in / drop out puzzle solving environment is amazing.

local only multiplayer. stop trying to bring back couch gaming.

While the core puzzle mechanics are somewhat fun, the game can be frustrating with a single player (especially the timed puzzles where a gust of wind will destroy your progress at the last moment). As of 2020, there are zero other players online, taking away one of the key features of the game (social multiplayer with seamless matching). Despite the trailer showing children laughing together watching the game (which did influence my purchase), there is no local multiplayer as far as I can tell (taking away the most obvious way to play as a family). My email to the developers asking about this dated 31 July has gone unanswered. There are improvements that could be made to keep the game playable in this situation e.g. adding local multiplayer, a hint feature etc, but the game seems to have been abandoned by its developers. Even a simple quality of life UI feature (the ability to restart levels with one click) is absent. The only way to restart the current level (something which you will want to do often as your blocks spiral into chaos) is to leave the level, ˆstart another level, leave that level,ˆ then go back to the earlier level. I don't see this one getting fixed either.

Es macht definitiv Spass die Puzzle zu lösen. Vor allem wenn für die Lösung ein anderer Mitspieler benötigt wird. Für das Spielprinzip und die Möglichkeit der einfachen sprachübergreifenden Kommunikation gibt es von mir eine Empfehlung. Nur leider ist nach ca. 3-4 Spielstunden die Luft raus. Alles gelöst und alle Herausforderungen geschafft. Ich hoffe, dass für dieses Spiel Updates oder wenigstens die Möglichkeit der Erstellung eigener Puzzle geben wird. Ansonsten war es wirklich ein kurzes Vergnügen.

It was a very entertaining game for me, even without the aid from any friends. However, due to the nonexistent replay value and the inbalance between this game's pricing and gameplay length, I don't think I can recommend this game to anyone. These two statements might even be why this game has completely faded into obscurity.
