On Christmas Eve, Officer Frederick Hartwell believes he's on a routine call-out to settle a domestic dispute but gets more than he bargained for when he finds that the house is empty, it's unnaturally cold and something seems to be lurking in the darkness.

'recommended' but like, in a super limited way. solid jump scares in a tight little package
Fun for the Price of a Cucumber(in Germany)
Got this game recommended by a couple of friends. So for the cheap deal of a cucumber here in germany I though nothing bad and bought it without checking any videos or screenshots. Took me awhile to pick it up and did just today. Cold Call is a short and confusing, yet challenging game. I bet with knowledge a speedrun can be done within 10-15 minutes. For me it took one hour and serveral times getting stuck forcing me to google for a solution. Thats where confusion comes in. The "riddles" have the same set of logic as any hidden object games. Sadly my most logical take was rarely the solution so I cat got lost and could find out what to do. Without any hints it got me frustrating enough to tap out and search for a hint. The game espacially the final fight are challenging and the scares hit me almost all times. Still i needed hints to understand how to deal with the final fight and endure long enough to see the end of the game. Id say I had fun with the game. Even with the confusion going on. The bet would be if the game had been longer I may disliked it more. But one hour was the right time I spent without getting to frustrated. The story itself is ok. It felt more like a creppypasta told at some campfire and for that it works and is enough. It not intriguing enough to dive deeper into it. The end was mysterious enough to make the scare remain. For horror games I do enjoy a more open not explained horror to leave me wondering. Cold Call does that. The game is good. You may have a different approach to the puzzle and may have an easier take on solving stuff. The game has a fair price and delivers a fair experience i quite enjoyed.
It's great, but I was getting a phone call, and when I paused the game after like 10 minutes, I skipped the whole "survive until backup arrives" part. What I'm trying to say is that the games keep running, but since you're in pause, the monster and the heaters won't kill you.

Nice
it's a really fun horror game only bad thing about the game being how short it is pretty short
Быстрая и хорошая пугалка. Сначала очень сильно пугала атмосфера, но под конец уже было совсем не страшно. Но я бы не сказал, что это не минус, так как это фишка разработчика. Вообщем, рекомендую.
