About
Captain your fishing trawler to explore a collection of remote isles, and their surrounding depths, to see what lies below. Sell your catch to the locals and complete quests to learn more about each area’s troubled past. Outfit your boat with better equipment to trawl deep-sea trenches and navigate to far-off lands, but keep an eye on the time. You might not like what finds you in the dark...
Starting from your new home in the remote archipelago, ‘The Marrows’, take to the water and scour the depths for curious collectables and over 125 deep sea denizens. Explore each area while completing quests and visiting neighbouring island regions – each with their own unique opportunities, inhabitants, and secrets.
Someone wants you to dig up the past, but can you trust them and will it ever be enough?
Danger is everywhere, so watch for sharp rocks and shallow reefs, though the biggest threats of all lurk within the fog that cloaks the night-time seas...

I have never shat harder over a size two fish trying to ♥♥♥♥ my boat. 10/10, would ♥♥♥♥ again.
good game buy it
LOVE this game! Relaxing and stressful at the time time. Repetitive but new and fresh at the same time. Highly recommend.
A must have title for anyone sick, hibernating, or sheltering from gloom. Dredge meets you right there with moody, bleak, and picturesque visuals and a nourishing soundtrack for your cozy soul.
this game is so peak, the art is amazing, the story is fun and original. dont even get me started on the dlcs. the pale reach ands so much content and a whole new system. this is one of the best games ive played. the wildlife in this game was such a nice touch, the sperm whale, shark, crocodile, everything. theres so much stuff to explore, so many side quests. this game is peak cinema.
For context I have 100% this game AND got all achievements. To start off, this game is highly praised by nearly everyone, and is often referred to as a "scary" or "horror" game. The unfortunate part is that this game is very much neither. This game starts off with that vibe, but after only 30-60 minutes of playtime the curtains drop and you realise it's just a person with a white bed sheet thrown over them. After being disappointed by that fact, the rest of the 30+ hours of gameplay leave you bored and underwhelmed by what could've been. The mechanics of upgrading your boat is fun. It's the main reason I continued to play this game, as I am a sucker for incremental games like that. Feels good to upgrade your boat, get better fish, sell fish, upgrade your boat. The missions are very basic. They are as fetch questy as they come. I can't help but feel like they were just added on later to try and give the game some kind of objective, and with the fact you're just a boat, they didn't leave themselves with many options. I definitely didn't dislike this game, but I don't think it's as good as everyone says. I think the concept is neat, I just think it could have been done better. When I finished the game I immediately started looking for similar games that actually have some creativity to their missions and game progress. I would be interested in a DREDGE 2 where they take the base mechanics of this game and actually add more interesting gameplay. To get all achievements you NEED to buy all of the DLC. I very much dislike that. I think that's a crappy move.
Linux performance
Linux performance is perfect. No issues at all.
Idunno, for how much this game's marketing relies on Lovecraftian aesthetics and unsettling vibes, it's not scary or difficult, it's a cozy game to turn your mind off to. If you were expecting a game that triggers your thallasophobia and/or taps into an oceanic cosmic horror niche, then you'll be very dissapointed. It's good, if a little stale past the first 2 areas, but with how poorly the marketing actually portrays the game, I can't recommend it. If you want a picture of the horror-ish aspects of the game, then know that you will always have to go very, very much out of your way in order for a dangerous creature to appear, and once they do they're a minor inconvenience, or barely a threat late-game. (The actual horror comes from the suspense of not knowing what's out there, but if there isn't an actual pay-off for that suspense, then I think it falls flat the moment the player releases that.)
Very fun fishing and horror woven together very well gameplay loop is continously entertaining
Feliz no simples, uma gameplay redondinha e um universo que explora muito bem nossa curiosidade pelo desconhecido. Valeu a pena cada DLC!
The horrors below scare the hell out of me... There's also monsters in it.
