After a mysterious accident, a secret scientific facility is left unused and abandoned, however, there are still objects of interest inside.
Your job is to recover Amalgams, creatures created from a mass-manufactured microorganism that has the ability to merge multiple animal species into one, or exaggerate characteristics of existing species.
Amalgams are manufactured in cells isolated from each other. Due to the nature of the microorganism used, the facilities must be partially submerged in a liquid specifically created to favor its reproduction.
This is why the installation can only be accessed by ships, so the facilities are designed for transport and circulation with maritime vehicles.
Once the Amalgams are created, they are captured in F-Pots, cages designed for their safe transport. These cages are kept submerged with the Amalgam inside until they emerge via activation of their associated buoy.
Your ship is equipped with a crane capable of transporting and activating F-Pots, you must use it to pick up the Amalgams and store them in your hold.
At the time of the accident the Amalgams were sedated by the automatic safety system, but it cannot be ruled out that some of them are still active.

Quick little game that's rough around the edges. Overall a good first pass on a game. Definitely needs more work for me to say it's worth the price tag. It reminded me very much of a student project, but I've seen dozens of student games much longer and more polished. As is, it's something to do for half an hour, and spending a dollar on it would be fine. The Good: * Loved the art and all it's low texture glory. * Boat controls felt solid. * The creatures were crazy and I want to see more. *
The random fish in the second area that jumped in front of the cabin window.
*
The tentacles you plow into.
* Great ending lol. The Bad: *
I never felt any danger, no fear. For a horror game, that's not great. The first creature really solidified this for me since it didn't move after stealing its child. At least make it dive into the water and rock the boat to create some sort of urgency.
* It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to leave the starting building with the elevator. Make the horn more obvious like a flashing red light or some sort of color on it. * It also took me a long time to leave the first area with the cargo ship on the left. The pathway did not look like a pathway, but a wall, so I went right instead and then in several circles. * I actually got stuck in the deck hold's door frame because I couldn't figure out how to open the cages. After restarting the game since I hard locked myself, I finally noticed the bright green knob on one side. I wish there was a way to tell the "open on this end" of the cages on the long side view since this is what you look at the most. * Very hard to tell how the claw was lined up. Add in a shadow/light for where it's over. Look up the classic 3D Mario shadow under the character to tell where you will land when you jump, same concept. *
Holy cow, the volume on the creatures is waaaay too loud compared to the environment sounds. Pretty sure my neighbors hate me, having played this past their bedtime.
* The collision jittering, especially for when the creatures were in the ship hold door frame area. What I Was Left Wishing For: * Music, distant sounds, creepy ambient wind/water/waves/splashes, something sound wise. *
The oyster, freak me out, have it close in on me for a moment, make it seem like it's going to crush the boat with sounds. Have it back off with the boat horn or something.
* A way to turn off the cabin lights. They were annoying and killed the mood. It was just like driving a car at night with the interior lights on, terrible. * Mess with the boat's lights more while traveling, have them flicker on/off (especially if you get rid on the cabin lights). * A flashlight for the player character to hold and point out into the darkness while on deck. * A way to invert the controls. The up/down S/W, they are completely backwards, this isn't a plane game, it's a crane arm. The F/R keys felt correct at the very least. * Small quality of life things, a mark on the helm for when the boat is straight. A dashboard indication of if you are in forward/neutral/reverse. * And lastly, it was too short. For the price, the length needs to be longer and the areas more engaging.
Actually scary and a good atmospheric horror game. I really enjoyed the approximately 45 mins of playing this ^^ Please Please make more of these games <3 5/5
ahaha so it took me like 10 minutes out what i was doing wrong and why i couldn't grab the buoy. But it was a fun short horror game about fishing. Take you about 30 minutes to beat https://youtu.be/ZDACWkpFhg8
honestly not much of a horror game. you gotta figure out the wonky controls and how to bring aboard the cages, but you only do that 3 or 4 times before the game just end. real itchio free game core spoilers: it's just like a single jump scare at the end, otherwise the scary is just how weird all the fused creatures are I guess
A pretty damn good little horror game with fun mechanics and a consistent creepy vibe throughout. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and can see others doing the same.
Couldnt see what I was doing especially around the beginning, no brightness slider, unplayable :(
