epic
I did quite a bit of research and watched some in depth reviews and stuff on this, and always saw it was compared to the likes of Skyrim, Amalur, Dark Souls, etc. open world action RPG and all that.. I played all those kinds of games (including the game I didn't much care for, the Monster Hunter series) and although games like Skyrim, Amalur, and Dark Souls have their own niche and appeal and everything, I always felt like they were always lacking in one way or another. I started playing this game and came to realize that it's actually alot better than I had imagined/expected and that unlike the others, this game has some pretty unique mechanics like the pawn system and being able to jump and grab on to big monsters/bosses and climb up them to reach and hit weak spots, and saw that this game not only doesn't seem to really have much lacking at all, but actually fills the gaps of what was lacking in the other games mentioned earlier. the gameplay and overall mechanics and different aspects are amazing in this game so far and I really like it! if I had to mention any drawbacks, it would be that the AI/Pawns/NPCs seem pretty stupid and some dialogues and voices in cutscenes or anything might be a turn-away and if there's actually a good story behind the game, that could possibly ruin and deter from it (sometimes, especially when out with pawns and no cutscenes/dialogues, I will mute sound), and the fact that, for me, sometimes the game can have random lag spikes where it can be sluggish (or sometimes freeze). I know a complaint for others I've seen is that the graphics seem kind of dated compared to what they can be now, but I'd say they still stand well compared to the previously mentioned titles for me.. games like Elden Ring might be more graphically superior to these titles by comparison, but the previously listed games are older and come from around the same generation of gaming, and they all stand well with current games despite how old they are. Overall : I would give this game a solid 9 or 9.5 out of 10 (the dealbreaker being the stupid AI/Pawns/NPCs and the dialogues). great game, and so glad I got it on sale!! really looking forward to seeing how it plays as I progress, and this already seems to be my top open world RPG
le jeu est immersif. on sent dans l'aventure. le coté exploration est présent
Was fun up to final boss in BBI. After Daimon was defeated, other bosses and mobs became more difficult and aggressive. They appear in greater numbers, hit harder, and spam AOE skills too often knocking you down repeatedly. After BBI the game is unbalanced and more frustrating than fun. Game needs a bunch of improvements before it is enjoyable: camera angle improvements so you can see where you are when you climb a dragon; need to balance boss mechs; need better pawn control/command; smarter pawn AI so they stop falling off cliffs; many times pawns don't attack boss they just follow me around while I do 90% of dps; need target-lock option so our character stop missing the dragon's heart; and a bunch more. DDDA has a lot of potential and offers open world exploration but the issues mentioned above frustrated me a great deal. Devs lost common sense on design strategy to keep player base. Despite the downsides, my personal score for this game is 7.5 / 10.
Nice
The story is basic, but the combat is godly.
jogo muito bom, recomendo
I first played this game when I was in the sixth grade, and back then I only reached 10% completion, but now I’ve finished it three times.
Underrated gem of a game. Mixes Witcher, Dark Souls, and Monster Hunter to create a truly unique and satisfying experience. Still holds up well. It's unique mechanic of being able to grab onto most living things offers a very dynamic and creative combat experience which is surprisingly absent in most games. It's AI companion systems - "Pawns", is a lovely system and is surpsingly fleshed out. This game has classes that are not seen in most games. I have a lot more hours in this game than what my account shows - likely double the play time.
