Game looks very good and runs well, the combat system is alright and slaying big monsters is super satisfying. Howerver, there are some very annoying issues with the game that make me regret playing it every time I pick it back up. For one: It's annoying how constant the fights are, especially with how limited the trash mob variety is. Literally can't run anywhere without a fight every 15 seconds. I'd like to be able to explore and sight see, but I pause for a second and it's -Boom goblins run up behind you, or harpies shrieking incessantly. It's especially heinous in escort missions where you can't just run through the mobs. You may think I'm exaggerating, but I ♥♥♥♥ you not, on one escort in the span of one minute I ran into 5 different mobs of enemies and had to carry this elven turd through each of them because he would go out of his way to fight every one. Two (not as terrible but still super annoying): The Random pawns that walk up to you and force you into dialogue. Like, ♥♥♥♥♥ I have a full party, piss off. I've resorted to running up to any wild pawn I see and hucking them off a cliff before they talk to me. Three: The Stamina system is so frustrating. They "fixed" it, but the stamina still drains too quickly. Four: Where's the environmental climbing? I can climb up a hundred foot Colossus, but not a ten foot rock face? I'm sure it's just for keeping players in bounds, but still, would have been fun to climb cliffs in our search for monsters to slay. In short, fun game with some serious flaws.
