We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Bellissime ambientazioni

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The most significant remake of DQ3 since the days of the Super Famicom. It's really, really good. All the new content is just what I would want from an expanded version of the game. I wasn't sure what to think of the overhauled Monster Arena at first, but oh my God, it's so much better than the original. I didn't spend a lot of time gambling on monsters before, but I spent a lot of time on the monster arena this game. The Monster Wrangler was supposedly overpowered at first, but it got a nerf before I played the game, and I find it to merely be a solid addition to a party. The martial artist, unfortunately, is underpowered in this version. I would like to see them fix that, too. Gadabout also has a ton of useful skills; I'm not sure if this is new or was in the previous remakes. All the new content with Ortega and the hero's mother and grandfather is just so perfect. I wouldn't have wanted anything less than this from a new remake. They've released a version of the same remake over and over since the 90s - finally we get one that is worth the money spent. And the Japanese voice actors are incredible (yes, I did Japanese audio with subtitles). I wish they wouldn't do stupid stuff like make Jipang people talk in haiku, but Dragon Quest has always had localization issues, and this isn't exclusive to this version. Overall I think the modern standard of localization is the best we've had. Perhaps we deserve better, but this is better than the NES days. There are some great details in the localization - the people of the upper world speak various dialects of modern English, for example, but Alefgardians speak a convincing but readily comprehensible Elizabethan English, perhaps reflecting the stagnation of their dark world. It's true that the old NES localizations had archaic English, but it wasn't very good archaic English; it was the way your average person talks when they're TRYING to sound archaic - and it wasn't just Alefgard people who spoke it; the upper world spoke it as well. My BIGGEST issue with the modern localization, which, again, isn't exclusive to this remake: there is a town called Su in Japanese, that was translated as Su in the original localization, and it is clearly meant to be a NATIVE AMERICAN village. The localization ERASES this in favor of a colonial town called Persistence. Do better, localizers. If you're afraid of being insensitive, then hire a Sioux person.

Absolutely amazing looking game and this style is just perfect for Dragon Quest. I don't dislike the 3D graphics of other DQ games but this is just how Dragon Quest is meant to look. Perfect blend of nostalgia and new. I never actually got to play the older versions of DQ3, I started playing DQ with 4 and 5 on the Nintendo DS.. but this game is just like I imagined. I hope they continue to remake all of those games, it'd be a dream come true to play a remake of 4 and 5 and have them on my computer.
