Years ago, the great hero Ortega bid farewell to his wife and child as he set off on a quest to defeat the villainous Archfiend, Baramos. Ortega failed his quest, and Baramos still threatens the world. Now, on their sixteenth birthday, Ortega’s only child is summoned by the king of Aliahan and entrusted with a mission of the highest import: to take on Ortega’s quest, vanquish Baramos, and save the world.
Recruit a variety of allies, with three able to join your party to aid you on your quest. Choose their vocations, appearances and their voices. There's even a brand new vocation exclusive to this remake: the monster wrangler!
Explore a wealth of towns, castles, caves, towers and dungeons to explore on your adventure, with hidden secrets waiting to be discovered.

初見で感じる印象として、スーパーファミコン版に 過剰な演出を付加して水増ししたように受け取りました。 音楽もセリフも全く同じで、この数十年間何をしていたのかと 疑問しか湧いて来ませんでした。 ゲームをしていて何が面白いのか？という ツボのようなものを完全に見失った現実だと感じます。 内容的には秀作だと私は判定します。 優等生的で、とがった所も無ければ大冒険もしない。 手堅くプレイしやすいように構成されてると思います。 昨今の大人の事情からか、「女」「男」とも 表記できない、別の意味で「差別表現」「間違った公平さ」、 まさに世界の歪みだと私は思います。 おっさんの懐古ゲームではありませんね。 現代の子供たちに授けられたドラクエ3です。 そう思いますが、あまりにもスーパーファミコン版を ベタ移植（？）、トレースした内容に困惑しています。 私はリメイク作、HD解像度アップのエミュレーター作品としては 良く出来てるとは思うのですが、ゲームに必要な驚きと興奮を まるで提供していないと受け取りましたので他人様には おすすめいたしません。 ただ、残りの余生のどこかでまた購入したいかな、 とは思ってます。 私の未練です。（笑） ...その後1週間ほど経過し、４割引程の セールが来たため再購入しました。 4400円程度です。 当初はかなり強気の価格設定でしたが、 最初からこのくらいの廉価であれば、 それ相応の強気の対価を求める顧客も 少なかったのでは？？と私は思います。 4000円程度と考えると、私には良いゲームに感じます。 最初、他のドラクエに比較して音量が小さい？という 謎めいた事態に陥りましたが「さくせん」「サウンド設定」で 変更できましたので参考にしてみて下さい。 「スーパーファミコン版のトレースに過ぎない」と いう私の評価は残念ながら覆りませんでしたが、 昨今の大人の事情の中で何とか世に出した。 これは善意だと私は判定しました。 すべての「ドラゴンクエストってなんだ？」と いう子供たちに遊んで欲しいと思います。 私の時代からはや50年経過...。 もうあの頃には戻れず、もう戻らない人もいる。 私はなぜか涙がぼろぼろとこぼれて止まりませんでした。 またどこかの世界で会おう友よ！
i've only played a little bit of a newer dragon quest game, but i love final fantasy and rpgs so i gave this a try!! it's definitely worth it, and if you like making characters and, well, roleplaying a little, this game really lets your imagination run free!! idk why i never really hear people talk about this, but you're able to customize your party pretty decently and its really fun!!! i put some of my own characters in there alongside me. it's a bit like Miitopia but more old school, if you have played that LOL (and for those who like Tomodachi Life will know enough about dragon quest anyway---). my only gripe is how i feel like i have to grind to get any money to get upgrades, and also the amount of wild enemy encounters is...well, a LOT lol but this is also the type of game where you might want to expect a lot of enemy encounters, so it's not a big deal. i definitely recommend it though, if you're thinking about getting it, do it! cave in!

Un remake que mejoro mucho de la ultima versión de DQ3 y si bien tiene algunos cambios que no me terminan de convencer, es innegable que disfrute de inicio a fin, incluso ahora después de completarlo al 100%, no descarto volver a jugarlo de 0 en algún futuro
