Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Un Dragon Quest clásico renovado. Visualmente impresionante. Cumple con los estándares de la saga

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

这是一部经典的JRPG,适合怀旧
dragon quest and final fantasy games are some of my favorites
This game is a fun little blast from the past. It's clearly been given some serious TLC in creating this HD remake and I have to approve of that. The gameplay itself is fairly dated but coming from a remake that's exactly what you want. The game has several difficulty levels which normally I'd approve of. There's an easy mode where you literally can't die and can simply face roll through everything and enjoy the story if that's what you're looking for. However, I found the difficulty levels very unbalanced. The strength of the monsters on higher difficulties isn't really the problem, it's how absolutely stingy it is with gold and XP. Depending on your classes, you may need a lot of gold to equip your party so the harder settings feel less like more difficult monsters and combat and more 'how long do you want to spend grinding before you're ready to face the next boss?' All this aside the game is solid. The story and combat don't hold up today but they're both a welcome blast from the path that old school gamers will enjoy.

Super beautiful game, really wonderful RPG. Dragon quest 8 is my favorite game ever and so I wanted to go back and see the series. I can definitely see the evolution, but hey man the classic still swings around with weight itself.
A lovingly made recreation of the original. At 30 hours in, I would recommend it to anyone who loves classic JRPGs. Is it worth the ~$80? No. Wait for a sale.
I've only every played Dragon Quest 11 before, and really loved that game. So, I wasn't exactly ready for the fact that this game isn't as character and story driven as that was, and was more the "job picker" type of JRPG. Which, isn't my preferred flavor. But, it's still a hell of a game. I love the vibe of Dragon Quest, and this still had that goody aesthetic and tone that I loved in 11. Plus, this game looks phenomenal. This 2.5 D style is so perfect for these older RPG games, and it's just so fun to play. I wish there was more character, but the game is too fun to complain much.
