Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

worst story i've ever had the displeasure of experiencing

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If I knew what I know now I would not buy this game. The load times are super long. YOu will not be able to switch characters in game. New game creates a new character and when you try to go back to a previous character you have to use new game mode again , finalize the same character and start game. The story stars all over again. The save system needs some cereous repair. It sucks I blew away 70$ for game and add ons. I was so stupid.
Who gave Disney the rights to this game's writing?
I was a fan of DA: Inquisition, and had (some) hopes for this game. To be honest, it was a MASSIVE let down. I'm a millennial, and I HATE millennials in the video game industry. The writing is among the worst I've ever seen in a game. In dialogue opportunities, there are "gender identity options" where you can discuss your gender identity? And a gender confused sidekick that is struggling with "it's" identity? Bro, what? I play games to escape reality, not be forced into this reality that has become our world. It's just strange. The dialogue is atrocious, and the game looks like a cartoon. By the grace of God, I was able to play this due to an EA Play subscription and didn't have to purchase the game outright. Would've been a complete waste of money. I, in good faith, cannot recommend this game. I wanted to like it, because I was a fan of DA: Inquisition, but I just can't. If this is the direction the series is taking, then I want no part of it. It literally felt like a chore to play. 3.5/10

Unbearable, obnoxiously childish dialogue. I bought this under the impression that maybe people were exaggerating its awfulness. People tend to do that after all, and surely a Dragon Age game could not be so bad. I was wrong. Having wasted any amount of money, however meagre, on this - I can only ask: Is this how it feels to be a retarded and worthless slave?
I've loved the Dragon age series for a long time now. I know that I am biased in my opinion, partially in that I feel this is what Mass Effect Andromeda is to the Mass Effect series. Fine on its own if you don't know lore, characters, and the over arching story, but ultimately still fails in crucial areas. I will say the fighting, the graphics, and environments are gorgeous, the developers did phenomenal work there. As we all know though that's only a portion of the experience. Which brings me to my next grievance, the writing. The writing...... is just so astronomically bad. For a game series that is so intricate and gripping in its story telling this is just the annoying little sibling trying to copy it. The writing lacks any true substance. The characters are cute, but incredibly forgettable no matter how much I wish they weren't. They all seem to follow one type of trope and then that's their entire personality. They don't feel like people, they just feel like NPCs that you encounter have a quick convo or two then go about your way. The connections between you and your team is just so bland. I heard someone put it so correctly one, "Rook feels like a life coach rather than a leader of a team". I am a sucker for the romance in games in all genres so I always have a more critical lens when it comes to that. When I tell you the romance in this game is just disgustingly juvenile and childish, like its so bad. DA: Origins is the superior in my opinion, and this wouldn't even be a lit match next to that. You have no connection built, it feels like a middle school romance where you can only hold hands and ask each other to a dance with chaperones. Do not even get me started on how mangled Solas and his story+romance felt. What should have been a beautiful conclusion to his story (romanced or not) It just felt so cheap and weak. Its a nice enough experience as you play, the combat truly is great I really love how they handles the warrior class (I love a big lady fighter), but when I think about it after completing it it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think I'll just stick to fanfics for the conclusion of this story. I really hope that DA is able to get into its own studio away from idiot exes who just want a cash cow and they can step back into the world with a new exciting story and expand from there.
I'm not LGBTQ or anything even though everyone seems to hate this title so much this is my first time playing this series and I actually enjoy the campaign and characters to interact with. I never played the first 2 games so I'm new to the series, but I like the action, gameplay and cinematic sequences are well executed here. Its graphically very demanding as you need a high end system to fully run this game , but its well optimized enough for a med to high range gpu if you have that. BioWare is known for creating some of the best RPG games that I have played before in the past. KOTOR, Mass Effect Trilogy and Anthem. Despite BioWare being owned by EA and they have a bad reputation, I hope they are able to stick around long enough to release the much anticipated Mass Effect 4 if it doesn't get cancelled somehow. Even though it seems only long time fans of the other Dragon Age games are bashing this title those new to the series like myself enjoy it so this comes down to an opinion of choice. Furthermore the game was discounted to $20 recently so for a title like this that was a substantial discount.
